Waste disposal makes the water very itchy. But it's in our system on how we block those impurities of water. Evolution is inevitable.

I once saw a news in our local channel. There was this man in a village. He has not drunk a single drop of water in 36 years because he was allergic to it. The doctors said that his body was getting water from other food materials and since he was allergic, he did not need water as much as we do. I just could not believe it. I was too young to understand everything the doctors said but got the summary. So, I have to say, that there is can be people who are allergic to it.

Sorry mate, but I do not remember his name. I saw this news some 5-6 years ago and cannot remember the details like name, village or other things. Just remembered the story. It is pretty strange. Maybe he is the only one in this world. Very unique.

That is true. I guess he was just allergic to direct intake of water. A body must have water one way or the other, otherwise no animal can survive. That man was no exception.

Hi, Boyetski. I don't know about someone being allergic to water. But, I was thinking that if the water is not cleaned and sanitized, then a person could get sick and catch germs. These germs may cause an allergic reaction in the body. That is what I think about drinking water when it is not clean. All kinds of bacteria live in this type of water.

Hi, Boyetski! I think that it is possible, but not directly and I agree with some of the Lotters mentioned about being allergic to the water that is not clean. A few years ago, there was something in the water that made my skin very itchy after bathing. It's not only me, but other family members also felt the same. It happened a few days and after that it stopped. We didn't go to the doctor, but I suspected that it was because the water was dirty or polluted.

Maybe the chlorine in water that makes you itch. Man learn to clean water or treat water by way of chlorine. But sometime the treatment lacks on purifying the water after treatment. That's how we itch. . . MAYBE

Yes it is very possible coz I have that. I can drink it but after taking a bath, small welts are popping out of my skin and it is very itchy. It is difficult at first like you don't want to take a bath anymore but as time goes by and having taking a bath a daily routine, it will not be a big deal anymore. It doesn't bother me that much anymore. All I have to do is not to scratch it coz it will just irritate it more. Now my allergy will just last about 30 mins or something. I lived at two places and already took a bath at some of my friends hoouses and still those welts always pops out. All I have to do is bear with it coz it is better than not taking a bath at all.

I doubt that a person could be allergic to water as a body is comprised 80% of water....but, you never know.

boyetski no I don't think that is possible in that our bodies are composed of 80 percent water,we need it to live. I have never heard of anyone being allergic to water. maybe if the water was contaminated you could be allergic to the contaminants but that would not be the water at all.

Possibly yes to be allergic it is a CONTAMINATED water derived from improper garbage disposal that leaked to clean water and pollution. Generally, MAN can survived with no food but not with water because most of our body requirements need water consumption. That is why various technologies were made for water usage intake like ionized water, distilled, mineral and even alkaline water to fit one's daily requirement. I never encountered any studies indicating that potable water caused an allergic reaction to any individuals except for some medical cases like water retention in excess drinking but not allergy.

The contamination part maybe is right? But can we still consider that we are allergic to water when what our body really reacted to was the contamination? Maybe it is really impossible. But one of our mylotter said that there was a man the indeed is allergic to water.and he has to take up liquid in a different way.

I don't think somebody could be allergic to water because our bodies are made up of such a huge percentage of water...

Yes. But As Oreo said there are some impurities in our water now a days. Hmmm it is still considered water isn't it?
