how do you realize that yor in love?

Its a difficult question? really one cant differentiate that he is in love or its just the attraction. I have been in love for past 10 years,5 years after saying my beloved that i love her.in the start,i didnt realise it,though i cant sleep without talking to her.it plays on mind,if i dont see her.but when circumstances came,it was fine like we can live for two days without talking etc(we were in hostel and when we used to go home,there were times where we cant talk to each other).after completion of our school,my heart beat was restless,because we know that we are going away from each other.from there the countdown started.we tried a lot,in making up for the same college,but unfortunately it didnt happened.so whenever we used to meet each other,in her college,i felt jealous when she talked to any of her friends(boys).that made me so impatient,that after 1 year,in afraid of loosing her,i expressed my feelings. conclusion:that very particular one year,i realized i am in true love. That was my story,how i realized my love. different people have there own ways,to realize their love. I would love if anyone wants to share his/her way to realize his/her love?
