Do You Believe In God?

Hi mylotters,
My question to all of you is do you believe in God, do you believe in something else or do you not believe in God or anything else at all?
I personally have always believed in God since the time I was younger, I can't imagine not believing in him. He has gotten me through a lot of tough times in my life and I'll admit, I talk to God, I'm not embarrassed to say it. If I'm stressed out or by myself I'll talk out loud to god, I know he can't directly answer me but it makes me feel better at the time. I believe if you make a mistake and your truly sorry that God will forgive you. I do believe that certain crimes and sins that are committed that it's hard for God to forgive people, especially if they keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
I know this can be a controversial subject and many people believe and many don't but I'm just curious what everyone's response will be, we're all untitled to our own beliefs and opinions.
I look forward to your response, I hope we can get a great discussion going from this, happy mylotting everyone.

I don't believe in God,but in China ,people aways believe in "tian".I think something is not changed by Men,but by "tian".

Oh, interesting. I've never heard of "tian" but I'm also from the United States so that could be why.

What If God is just one of us? -- a normal human being,
As for me, yes, I believe in God.

Like you, I can't imagine not having a god. I have always believed in my God and He was always with me. I don't wanna ruin my life doubting Him or finding out if He's true or not. I have never been harmed while believing in Him so why would I need to doubt Him? I am not well-off and I feel like I am not the luckiest person in the world but I feel His love all the time. I can always call on Him when I want to. Believing in Him never hurt or ruined my life so I am gonna believe in Him always.

I dont know what to say but till now i did not believe in GOD. but in recent days most of people told me to believe in GOD. they said you will feel better if you pray.
But still my mind didnt changed so much.

I do belive in God, i always did. Since i was a chiled i was rased with the idee of God, and i must say that many times God realy did helped me. There were lots of times when i was in bad situation and didn't knew what to to, seemed to be problems with no solution, when i was so desperate that i thought that that's it, i don't even know how, but my problems solved. I always thought that God let me until he last moment, so i can learn something from that situations, but in the end, He helped me ang got me out of it. So yes, i really do belive i God.
But i don't like priests....they are so ....fake.

I believe in God. God saves me every time. But, sometimes, I forget my God. I think, most of peoples in the world sometimes forget about their God. Never pray! Never think about God! Just think about money, money, and money! But, when I was in trouble. God is my only friend, my only light. And I'm very sorry forget my God. But, now I will always remember God.

Yes. But not the way many people think. I believe religion is something very important for some people, but for me the relationship with the creator is more important. And I don't like to use the word: god. I like to use the word creator, because that's what IT is: a creator in some form of energy and not in a form of human who says who gets to heaven or hell.

i absolutely agree to the existence of a supreme power which is called "GOD".one who is beyond comprehension,one who is the source of life,one who is the only existing truth.In sanskrit there is a approprite verse to this(the translation goes)-"ishwar (GOD) ajanma (one who is not born),nirakar (one who is beyond dimensions),shaswat (forever),satya hai(truth)".
i believe in this absolute truth.i have felt his mercy.i have witnessed his miracles.i have awed over his power and control.he is the guiding force of this universe and in some form or the other we all seek him as the sole truth of our human life.

I Believe in God and I really feel His existence and His all things around us.really sometime i feel my self like a main character of my life film and all other around me are envirnoment created by Director to make it Beautiful,Director which direct every one and which make so many things to make my life beautiful and make so many things due to which i can feel happiness and feel emotions and love.and that director is the Creator the God.I don't think any film can be even start without a director then how anyone say that this whole world is running without a director.so pointless thing people say and doesn't recognize the One who created them and give them free will to belive Him or not.Every manufacture wants that their products must be used with their name and if somebody used their product without their name then it is considered as illegal but God just made us and still don't do any actions if we don't believe on Him.its His mercy and we people are just so careless and forget Him.

Many people say that to see is to believe. Yes, I haven't seen God but it doesn't mean that I don't believe in Him. This case is an exception. I do believe in God with all my mind, with all my heart. I may not often go to church to attend the mass but He is always here inside my heart. I understand why some people don't believe in Him. Without Him, my existence is impossible. I firmly believe that He is the ultimate reason for our survival. I believe in His love for all of us. Every time I need a shoulder to cry on, He is always with me. He is the only One I can cry on when I have many problems.

i believe that there is force which permeates the universe, not just the earth. It operates with its set of principles like any other force -- it is immaterial whether science with all its limitations/achievements does not understand it fully. Every person, sooner or later, in life comes to realize the life as we live does not seem complete -- something is missing. This is the time when they feel the need and relevance of something bigger than human being. People with different faith call it differently and have differing attitude towards it. If nothing else, this faith makes people humble which is a wonderful thing because under the influence of ego humans do things which they know is not very correct. This faith also brings with it a sense of completion and security within.

Hey there =) I also believe in God because He had watched over me when no one else would. However, sometimes the followers of God do bad deeds which give God a bad name. For instance, i used to go to a big church and the priest there turned out to have used up all the donations to buy himself a house to accomodate his 70 or so wives (true story) and because of him, many people stopped going to that church (including me). Some also began drifting away from Christianity though I believe that during that circumstance, we need God more than ever to guide us. To show us where we should go from there.
Believing in God no matter what the cirucmstance may be shows how much faith we have inside of us. =)

I know that there is a being that made me. I don't believe i just "happened". I also don't believe in coincidence. God has a plan for me and my life. So i would say that Yes I do believe their is a God. Miracles have happened in my life and there is no other explanation.

Hello, let me in. I sometime want to refuse God or not believe in God because there are much unreplied pray, there are too much difficulties and when I was going to helpless, but again and again I expect that there will be God who will help us !! A poet told : God to your face I am staring at, I can not turm my head (to other direction)..

I see what you mean. This is indeed a very controversial topic. But of course we are always entitled to our own opinion. I was raised a christian and of course was taught about the existence of God. But there was a point in my life that led me to question God's existence. Well, after that moment I was able to find out that God really exist. I am not pushing this belief to others for in myself I do not need to show any proof. I have my faith and I felt that during those difficult times in my life, God was there to help me out.

I always feel like I don't believe in God at all. I feel that there's no God. All good things we do is all about what we know of God. but, on second thought I feel that the thoughts that creep into my mind comes from somewhere . But where does it comes from ? I never know. Likewise there are many things I cannot find an explanation to. These things I believe is done by some force. At this point of view I believe God is the person who's doing all these.

Yes I do believe in God. God is not seen because he is Spirit, but we feel his presence thru his power which is evidence that thing he has made in this world.

I completely believe in God. I love god whole heartedly and I too could never imagine not believing in him. The ones that dont believe in him or love him are the ones that dont know him. And people complain and say "oh god has never done anything for me" but its always because they dont faithfully ask
