Can God Talk to People

I believe so. I however dont know of anyone who has physically spoken with God but I dont need to know one. I believe anyone can talk to God whenever they want and He can hear us all the time. I dont require His physical presence to believe in Him. I believe He's real and I can feel Him even though I can't see Him.

God has often talked to people, but frequently they do not listen. Other times people lie and claim God is talking to them, to excuse what they are doing. I tend to doubt people who claim that God is giving them a message for someone else. For instance "God told me that you should be single. You should not marry so and so." on the other hand, I know that God gives personal messages to individuals, as it has happened to me. It can be in the form of actual words or it can be "gut feelings". God is all powerful, He can speak as He chooses.

Then I am mentally ill as I did hear the voice of God just once. I had left my husband in hospital and the hospital required $150,000 (not US dollars) before they would insert a pacemaker in him. I drove the 6o miles home in pouring rain and was crying so hard as I did not know how to raise this money. Credit cards exhausted etc and savings finished. I prayed so hard for the wisdom to get me out of this problem. I then heard a voice, I do not know if it was in my head or out loud but I did know that it was the voice of God. He told me to humble myself and ask 150 people for a thousand dollars each (not US dollars).To make it short $180,000 was raised in 4 days. My Church people helped and one person on the city collected donations from friends etc. One Person wanted to pay completely but we refused and and asked 150 people. However, $180,000 was collected as several people were collecting and I was in a quandary but my Priest said that God does not make mistakes! The outcome was that the hospital bill was for $180,000 exactly as sugery was delayed as his blood would not clot I really cannot believe that i am relating this story online. hello winter, nice of you to be active again here. i do believe God talks to people but in different ways. it doesn't really make that usual just like us or other people talking but of course he uses other to show that he is talking to us. depends entirely on the situation of the person in their lives, they may see the message differently from others

YES and all the time. The only problem is that majority of us never listen or had no time listening to Him. Or worst doesn't knew how to communicate with Him.

hi... I think the answer is positive. He may not talk to people in person, but can guide His people in a mystery way. For example, people can learn His words from the Bible. So, the words in the Bible are words of the God. There are many things described in the Bible that He talked to His beievers, and then happened lots of miracles. If people think being religious means mental illness, then there are many of those people in the society. If they are as regular people, then they are not religious people anymore. The song: there can be miracle, when you believe. Usually He only presents to His true believer who are worthy and faithful. I was, but currently not so deeply religious. But I think He is almighty and if only He wants, He can talk to people in a powerful and mysterious way. I think American people should believe in God without doubt anyway; even in your money, you print: In God We Trust :D

Well, God is none other than our own conscience, and yes, He speaks to us, if we listen to our inner voice. The much better we can connect, the better our answers, but our minds are clouded by the ego and it's afflictions, so we often get confused and we are never in touch with the inner purity which is infinite consciousness. So, it's possible to speak with God, if we connect with our inner Self, the soul. That's God.

Yes God talks to everyone, more than you would believe. God does not talk with words, but he can really knot up your stomach when you are thinking of doing something you deem wrong. Yes this is how Gods communicates with people. He talks to your through your stomach. He is continually telling you right from wrong. If its right you feel great, but if its wrong, just feel that knot in your stomach.

Hi winterose, Yes, I believe that God talks to us all the time, the problem is most of us don't listen. For the majority of people, it probably never enters their thoughts that God would be talking to them. That is because they see God as a sort of Superman who lives in a place called heaven out somewhere in space. As we come to understand that God is within us, it becomes much more natural to understand that he does speak to us. I know now that there has been times that God has spoken to me, althought I thought that it was something else at the time. This doesn't mean that God won't speak to us through spripture, of course, he does for those who expects the answer to come that way. I know that God once used the Bible to speak to me when I was a young man, because I would't have accepted the answer if it had come from any other source. I also think that God can speak to us through dreams and visions. However, if we have a problem that we can't seem to solve and we just let it go, surrending it to the universe or to God, however we think of it, and later the answer comes to us, suddenly and out of the blue, I believe that's God. We must never limit God for there is no limit. Blessings.

I don't believe in 'GOD' as he is tought in THe Bible. I do believe there is a higher power and that entity is able to communicate with us. I don't think it is a dialogue but more a feeling we get from this that steers us. I think it is these feelings that lead us to believe in GOD and follow the Bible.

I think god dose talk to us, but we have to keep our heart minds and souls open to what our creator is saying, and I'll admit that I dont always listen like I should because life can sometimes crowed things out. Now when I say that god speaks to us I mean in the form of conscious and subconscious and intuition, not through human words, and I believe that no one person has more insight or can hear gods words more then anyone else because our creator speaks to everyone its just that some people listen and some dont. Hello again winterose, what i knew is yeah! If you just believe in the old testament (the Bible),it was stated there that God talk to Abram and Moses, but I am not sure the verse...nowadays it would be impossible..well, as what I understand God would never talk directly to His people because the Bible was already completely done... talking with god doesn't require special permissions, you just have to talk with the inner self an he talks with you, because every time you converse with your inner self god is talking with you.

the creator will communicate with only the purest of heart ,soul and mind,and it will not come to u,u will when the consciouness of soul is at its cleanest state,will make that trip with the guardian whom knows the way to the ANAMI LOK WORLDS THE OCEAN OF LOVE AND MERCY WHERE ALL SOULS WERE CREATED AND WHERE THE CREATOR RESIDES,

I don't believe in the big divine things that people talk about, like hearing the voice of God, rather that God brings us messages in a subtle quiet way that is strictly between God, and whoever the message is meant for. This is one of the reasons why i ahve problems with organized religion, because it seems that a lot of people in one place are to send and receive messages to God in the same way (mass prayer, for example, a prayer prayed by all together, or by the preacher on behaf of all). I think that God and each person ahve their own way of staying in touch, and that it's completely personal.

there are some cases in which people said that they have even seen the god and i believe that god is there and it may be possible that they would have seen ........

God talks to people through their hearts. They may not be physically able to hear his voice, but hearing a voice is not the only way to communicate with someone now is it? Like I said, its all about communication with the heart

I do not agree that God talk to people.I believe God arrange something for people.For example,i am not in good condition now.Maybe God arrange it for me.God do not have mercy on me.
