You just bought a new computer with the new version. There is still the old one standing on your desk. What will you do with it?

I will continue to use it too. The new one will become the main one for my work and emailing, and the old one will become the place for reading world news and playing games. It should still be good enough for playing games ! Then later on, I may donate it to some organization which needs computers for the community here in town. That would be beneficial for the community.

Always I will sell it before ereasing all the available files. And sometimes I will find a good owner for it, send it as a gift for my relatives if they need it, example to send it to little brother who is learning programme.

I will buy a router and I'll give the old one to my three year old daughter who always interrupt me from my online work just to play her favorite online barbie games and anything on y8.com.

Hi there, I prefer to sell the old version first. If no one would like to buy it, I'll chose to give the old version to my friends or relatives who needs it.

Well the old computer I use it for work. I work from home so the older one comes in handy and the new one my daughter uses for her homework and chat with her friends.

I would recommend you either turn it in to a computer repair shop, they might give you a little for parts, OR find a charity that can recycle your old computer for someone less fortunate (if it still works), OR give it yourself to someone less fortunate. Check with your local school system, they might connect you with a student who could use a computer at home but the family cannot afford one. If you want to keep the hard drive as an extra storage device, you can purchase a cover for about $60 that will let you connect it to a USB port, so that you can use it as an external drive.

I'l just keep it because thats what I usually do. It might come in handy sometime. I know what I could try to sell it but I wouldn't get enough cash for my PC's anyway so its better if I just keep them. :)

I usually just hang onto my previous laptop in the event I have to send my "new" one in for repair. Or, it has something stored on it my new one does not. For example my old computer has all my music files that I backed up from my currently missing android phone. So if I want to save them I simply retrive them from the other computer. It will also cone in handy if George wants to use it to check the weather or something because I have a wireless router and I can connect them both to it if I have to. It'll slow down both systems somewhat, but I can handle that for the short time he would be on it.

I always keep my old computers because you never know when you might need an extra one when your new one goes down. If you have multiple old computers you can give some away to charity or give them to your family members who don't. You can also just it as storage, put it in an RV or some place you would not want your new computer, or you could just convert it into a browsing station.

I'd sell off the parts as quickly as possible, old computer parts are nothing compared to the new ones, so as they get older, the newer ones get better, and they cost/sell less.
