Absolutely! Especially when my favorite NBA team is winning or my favorite NBA player have made an amazing shot. I even shout and jump out of joy! For sure I would gone wild if I'm in the arena and watching the game live! Hahaha.

I don't think I have ever actually clapped at the TV, but I have surely yelled at in a few times while watching sporting events, or screamed at it in anger while watching a few Obama speeches LOL

I do that sometimes, if the show has been really good. I do watch musical performances, especially, the great artists, or even mediocre artists who are not renowned, but still when they give a good performance, and if it really touches me, and excites me enough, I do clap.
Well, if I am watching my favourite sport, like Federrer playing and winning a game, I jump, clap, whistle... Ha ha ha... Who doesn't clap...? I think everybody does... Especially when they are watching Soccer or superbowl, all of them do...

It is not all the time that I do clap while watching tv. If I do, it would have to be something that has really impressed me. Most of the time, it would have to be a music show where contestants fight it out for the top prize. If one of the contentants do a fantastic performance then I will clap.

Hi, adam. Yes, I am carried away by what I see on tv. I clap when the situation calls for it. I even cry when I am touched by something emotional I see on tv. I cry because of sad or happy events and this makes my children laugh at me. Once, I cried because I felt for the little boy who was awarded a college scholarship for carrying his blind brother who also went to the same school he was going.
When our favorite countryman, the boxer of the year Manny Pacquiao fights, we do not only clap when he wins, but without our knowing, we throw punches in the air while watching him fight in the ring, hahahaha. That is very true.

Clapping at the tv? What a weird thing to do. I personally do not do it, especially in front of my family and friends. For me, no, I don't get any urges and just find clapping at the T.V. pointless and without sense. Funny you mentioned this though because a week ago, my sister was watching "Who wants to be a millionaire" and just burst out clapping. I though something was wrong so I quickly rushed to her room, only to find her perfectly fine.

HI! No and I have never claped. I clap only in theater or on a concert.
