why money is important if death is the end?

If death is our destiny and if we are going to be buried alone...leaving friends,home,and all what we have,..then why money is so important to some people giving it more importance than what it really worth..why some r ready to kill and make evil for it if nothing of it will go with them when they die?isnt health is more important?to be ill and your money cant help you ,..isntit a bad thing?
