Since it is the Christmas season for many mylotters out there I thought I would ask... What was your favorite childhood toy? Do they still make it even? ;0) Have you bought any of that item for your kids? My favorite toy was always my Cabbage Patch kid...Mary. I do recall EzBaking a grape or two when I was little as well *LOL* My oldest requested an EZBake oven & that's one things she's getting as she has now become more interested in cooking.

I don't know if we got it for Christmas or not but my brother's and my favorite toy was a set of wooden blocks that we played with at my grandparent's house We'd build pyramids--Grandpa taught us before we learned it in school and told us about the history of pyramids and the people that lived in that time from his knowledge of the Bible--and cities of skyscrapers and little houses. That set of bricks fueled years of questions, education and wonderment! I wish I had them now. Legos are a good substitute which I provided my own children but handling those wooden blocks was something that generations will never know.

Well, apparently one of my favorite child hood toys was a jack in the box. I came across one a number of years ago and found it very soothing. Must be connected to a safe time in my life which wasn't long as a child. I remember the EZ Bake oven as well. But I really liked paint by numbers. Do you remember the Jane West doll? The western figures?

I had a cabbage patch doll named JJ.. short for Jillian Josephine. I got her for Easter when I was 3 years old, and although she got pretty beat up over the years (I cut her hair, drew on her with permenant marker, and the typical wear of tear) I kept her until I was 16. I lost her because I moved out in a hurry and left the majority of my belongings behind, including the toys I'd saved from childhood. My daughter has not yet gotten a cabbage patch doll. She's not very interested in playing with dolls. I personally would drag my dolls everywhere with me. I had dozens of them, although JJ was always my favorite. I even had matching outfits for myself and the doll. But my daughter can't be bothered by them. She's had a few typical baby dolls and rarely touches them. She's had a number of barbie dolls too and doesn't play with those either. She got an EZ bake oven last year, though honestly has only used it once. It's a bit of a pain and I'm not certain she can do it by herself. It's still sitting up on a shelf somewhere.

I remember when I was a kid, I was showered with toy cars and soft toys such as Snoopy and Spiky. My favourite childhood toy is Snoopy because it is always smiling and whenever I felt moody, I will grab Snoopy and take a look at its face, my mood was brighten up. Spiky was the first soft toy and it accompanied me throughout my childhood then came smiley Snoopy. Till now, when I saw smiling snoopy in front of me, my mood brightens up.

When I was a kid I used to love playing my Atari, and of course later I moved on to Nintendo. I am 30 years old now and you can't peel me away from my PS3, so I guess my favorite toys have always been my video games.

This is a hard one. I have so many favorite toys when I was little and now I am in a state of confusion to which toy wins my heart. I have this horse that I do not remember who gave it to me, but I loved it dearly. I also have this one barbie doll that I favored more than the others. Never cutted her hair and did not do any weird things on it, so maybe that. But there was also a matchbox that changes color when you put it in the freezer. I have to admit I have so many fond memories of all my toys that I think all of my toys are magical. Funny but yeah I feel I have treasured most of the stuff given to me.

Favourite childhood toy? I think this has to go with a small toy car that I spent a few years playing with until I grew out of it. I still remember the car till today and I have it safely packed in a box, in my basement. Overtime, the car got damaged and I had gotten it recently repaired. The shop keeper looked at me as if I was a grown man with the mind of a child. I remember this car was a morris mini minor. It was dark green and you can easily fit it into your fist.

Hi 3SnuggleBunnies, Without doubt it would be Lego, it is still made today and is still extremely popular. It is is a great toy for any kid as you are only limited by your imagination with it and kids have lots of that so the possibilities are endless. It is also very educational in my opinion. I had lots of it as a kid and love it so much, I think I played with it nearly everyday.
