Growing Body Parts

I seen this on 60 minutes where they are using the stem cell research to help heal and possible mend amputees and various other parts of the body for organ transplants. They have said many have already benefited from this procedure. I feel this may be good sign for those who truly can benefit from this and like the idea that they are putting the stem cell research to use. I also have mixed emotions to where there is always the one bad apple in the mix who can try to go farther and harm this research. What is your take on this stem cell, growing body parts?

well science is always trying to be God goodness they claim its all for good and to help people in need. I thought about what it would be like if i lost a limb how difficult it would be to do things, and for people who may be missing a limb this may be great news and may be beneficial to many people one day. but on the other hand science can be really sick like giving humans animal organs and the stuff science has done with food is really nasty.

Yes, its hard to determine whether it would be beneficial. I am sure it would be for those who really need it and could benefit. Then you never know what the scientist could do next..

I have read about that, it's miraculous!! I'm all for it! But I have read that the adult stem cells do this, not the fetal. In fact, fetal stem cells haven't yielded what researchers thought they would and adult ones seem to be the beneficial cells. That's great news for people--no one's morals are challenged and everyone gets the benefits. Of course, there is always at least one person who will go beyond what is accepted and reasonable and moral. But people thought Edison was the devil to invent electric light bulbs--we'll have to wait and see what they come up with. The "bad apple" might be the next Edison!
