Last Dec 17,2009, we had our party in this place. We had paid for the food and we had given instructions on what we had expected regarding the place should look like. When we got into the place, the arrangement of the tables are very different on what had agreed upon..no microphone provided (which was included in the agreement), the manager whom we talked to was not there at the moment, when we are starting our program instead of minimizing the volume of the sounds, they had put the sounds on to its loudest volume. The waiters are not serving us well. They had to put down the plates, glasses in a very rude manner. If we only had a choice we would just have our money back, but its too late to find another venue that time. We just had to make out of it so that we would all enjoy the night. I just want you all know whta had happened and what we had felt that time. Mga kabayan, nakakasama ng loob noh?

hi elisse! first off, welcome to mylot. nice to see a fellow countryman here in mylot. what happened was really disappointing. what should have been an occassion to have fun was ruined by the rudeness of the establishment that was suppose to serve you well. i must say that you can definitely fiel a complaint to the management not jus tof the branch but at their head office as well. you might even twist their arm and try to get gift checks or vouchers for free meals. things like this work. of course not to a point that you abuse the establishment but just so to turn the tables on that establishment. you payed good money to have good service and they give you cr@p. that's not going to happen in my watch. i wouldn't bring it up immediately during the party itself but i would definitely send an email to file a formal complaint and ask that something be done. hopefully, these small setbacks didn't ruin your party. hope to see more of you in mylot. cheers!!!

well, it seems that you enjoyed your party and didn't let the staff at that restaurant ruin it for you. it's really your prerogative if you want to file a formal complaint. ajust goes to show that you should have everything written down in a contract for events such as this. it would also help that you have the name of the contact person as well as his/her contact number so you can still contact him/her if somethign similar happens. asking for another contact person from your original contact person will also help since you have aother person to look after your needs and coordinate with you. this is something i usually do since i plan a lot of parties and get-togethers for family and friends. i make sure that everything is set as agreed upon and make sure that the restaurant/establishment keep their end of the bargain so everyone gets a jolly good time. cheers!!!

we just enjoyed the night because we were just gathered for that night. We dont usually have time to mingle with each other at regualr working days. some of us are in night shifts and some are morning shifts. We just had fun and take some pictures for the memories that day. Hope this discussion could help me

It is best to file a complaint to the management. Customers should be served well after all, the customers are always right and they pay for the services which means good services. This would be a negative impact on their marketability.

you can create a blog on it. post it on twitter, facebook or friendster if you have any to spread the news. or you can compose an email and forward it to all names on your address list and tell them to do the same thing until it reaches gerrys grill superiors. happy mylotting elisee27 and by the way, posting languages other than english is not allowed here. they might delete the topic. hope they wont coz this is a good one. just be careful next time. try to read the TOS and FAQ

HI Elisse, that restaurant was worthless, they should treat there customers well although there manager was not around. They should know to serve the customers and provide all they need because that is there main function. I am glad that during our last Christmas party, the venue and the management are great and they really took good care of us.

oh that's awful. When I was still working with my former company we had our x'mas party at gerry's pasay and it was all good. You mean to say the one in Insular? That's not good at all Oh...maybe they should improve their service more and knowing every one is celebrating x'mas they need to have excellent service at least during this season right.

Yes that one in Insular. We planned of just leaving the place and just refund the money but it would be very hard for us to look for a place taht can accomodate 68 persons in it...

You should make a complaint so the management can do something about because in the long run it's going to be their loss. But i think it's very typical of us Filipinos to just let things pass but at least we learned our lessons. So just continue spreading the word so others will be warned. I for one would not let my feet land in that place. It's better be safe than sorry because come to think of it, there are a lot of grills out there that offer the best services. It's just a pity that you have to be frustrated for an event that you are expecting to enjoy and have fun with your friends.

We came to a point that we felt that we are not welcomed to the place. We are about 60 persons and just imagine how we felt that time
