Best areas to buy in US

I am thinking of buying a property. Where are the best places in US to buy? I like California but am thinking possibly of other areas/ states with great schools, safe areas, great amenities etc. Can someone please suggest something or give me some advice? Thanks

If you like warm weather San Diego in California would be ideal I think. I suggest Georgia might be a lovely place to live. I know Florida would give an amazing life style. If you like cool weather Washington State would be lovely. Good luck choosing where to buy your property.
