The most horrible,barbarous,dastardly terrorist attack on the United States made the whole world stunned. It was a tragic incident in the history of the USA, as the power and prestige of the country were shattered by some mindless terrorists. The twin towers of America's World Trade Center and a part of pentagon were reduced to rubble. September 11,2001, was really a Black Tuesday for the people of America. The terrorists hijacked soon after take-off four Boeing Commercial aircraft's with 266pepole on board. American Airlines Boeing's 757 and 707 tore into the 110-story twin WTC towers. Generally, up to 50,000 people work there. It was not known how many were inside then the disaster occurred early in the morning around 9 a.m.The first tower crumbled then the next.There was an explosion. The two edifices of WTC fell in an enormous cloud of smoke and fire. People were seen jumping out of the windows to save themselves. Within an hour,the pentagon,the USA's defense center, was hit by another aircraft. Part of the five-sided building collapsed after the plane struck in the morning.The attacks plunged the country into chaos and panic, paralyzing communications and forcing evacuation of key buildings.Markets,schools and parks were closed. Ten thousand people feared dead and many wounded.No words of condemnation were enough to decry such dastardly crime. A massive and extensive investigation began to find out the perpetrators of this crime against humanity. President Bush promised to hunt down and punish those responsible for such horrendous crime. Why many innocent people was died?I am very sad.
