Hi friends, about 10 years ago, I bought a comp which was a fairly high performance comp at that time. I was able to play almost all computer games which were available then, and for the next 4 to 5 years, I was able to play the then latest computer games with that comp, with out much problem. That was the situation then. Two years ago, I bought another comp, which is also a fairly high performance comp, but now I am not able to play the latest computer games because of its extensive graphics requirements. Why is the graphics requirements of the computer games rising so quickly now?

Hi, Phadagour. I am not that sure. Maybe because of the changes in the digital format. Many games are becoming more technical as time goes by. It is all about the latest inventions that has to do with the changes. Every game is designed to work in a way that shows more graphics. It has to do with computer technology.

Well, as the new technologies grow of course the game developers will try to go for them, and always try to make games not only better in story, but also in graphics and development. Unfortunately this forces us to have every day better equipments and that's expensive.

I think games are not only oriented to your graphics capabilities but also the ability of your computer processor. The more objects that are used, the more work is done by computer. Computers continue to grow without end, and people keep inventing new that has a very fast speed.

Yes it is and it is always going on that direction anyway. Because every gamer alike like me always want to have at most realistic games when playing. We don't like those boring graphics before. So the situation is quit normal computer companies anticipate this already.Computers as well always more powerful every other month as Moore's Law predicted.

Yup and the graphics are quite fascinating. Even though the only way to play such high requirements game is to upgrade our PC. One thing I learned about upgrading my computer is the buy each part one at a time. For example, I will buy a motherboard on this payday and the processor on the next payday and so on. By the third month I already had all the parts and can assemble the new computer at home.

Most new games are based on simulation. Like Pilots first get thier training on simulation environment, they plays games, no worry, how many plane crashes, Planners, leaders, organizers and controllers of games are trying to bring gamers near to reality, that's why they add more graphics, even mostly new games require high end processors, high graphic cards, cooling system for CPU,etc, Graphic view is the key and vital part of good game, That's why new games are more graphic oriented.

I would like to know that too. Just because of those terrible graphics requirements i have to stop play games on my computer. Mi video card could not support them. My video card is damage now and i cant find anymore to replace it. Sellers say they stop manufacture those types. I guess i'm just unlucky.

I rarely play computer games any more for this reason. They are getting very graphic heavy and I suppose they may be better because of it. But I remember playing some computer games that were not as graphic heavy and they were good. Its just not worth it to upgrade just for a game I might just play through once and decide its not worth my time to play anymore. It just depends on what kind of gamer you are if you feel its worth it to enhance your graphical requirements to play the games.

I always wondered whether the game makers, have some bonding with these memory and graphics card companies. I still keep wondering who created these new types of graphics cards, and processors. Because, most of the computer installations I make, are for kids, who are either in college, or in schools. They want a higher end graphics card, and complete memory(If their motherboard supports 4 gb, they want that ), higher width monitors. If you ask them to justify there configuration, they end up telling only one thing, they cannot play latest games, with these age old configuration that I give. So this computer hardware -graphics - games bonding is so intact as you say.

We can attribute the rapid rise in graphics to the high demand from the market. The market is demanding more beautifully designed, more improved graphics! So, that's the result. Add to that the stiff competition in the market. If one producer launched a game with higher graphics, the other one is compelled to launch a much more higher graphics game. And we (consumers) have no choice but to keep up with the latest trend. But on the other hand, if we can make our machines cope up with the upward changes, it's good. Innovation is good.

bro the reason is that the game which we play before is not well graficed but the games which we play now is totally real and fully 3d and the grafic card hae a its own complete circuit
