Okay I havent gotten a chance to get my wisdom teeth pulled and lately with the winter coming around and me having to go out in the weather to get to work I am hurting more often. So what can I take or do to calm the pain. Orejel doesnt work that long either and I took 2 advils yesterday. If wanyone knows please let me know. Thanks!

BTW the medicines are spelled as PARACETAMOL and IBUPROFEN. Try flanax too. I don't think paracetamol could relieve the pain for your wisdom tooth. It's commonly used for fevers.

You could also use Ponstan for the pain. It's a medicine for tooth aches.

A fever is like inflammation so you want to take anything that will take "down the swelling". Ibuprofren is good and so is tylenol or Aleve. Okay, so the latter is not something I will take personally as it does nothing for me, but as long as you take something that will take a fever away then it should work. Myself, I can handle 4 200mg Advils ever 3 hours if need be. I don't like Narcotics so I won't take but 1 Vicodin if needed and only if needed. Another thing is to keep your mouth closed and a scarf around the jaw line to keep the cold out. Good luck to you. I hope you feel better!

I know it sounds silly but take paracetomol with ibrobrofen (I cant spell it) I have just had one removed and for 7 months thats what I was using to ease the pain! I am so glad I got it removed!
I feel better in myself now just be warned you will have a bit of a sore throat after as they inject the anesthetic right next to your throat OWWW!!!
