How does music affect you?

Let me first say that I love music! It motivates me, encourages me and lifts me when I down. I have at least one song in any genre I can think of that I love. There is music for any mood that you may find yourself in and a song that can identify with your situation. I listen to music all of the time and I simply love it. My favorites are Neo-Soul and Alternative because the songs relate to life, love and personal growth. These genres help me to stay focused and encouraged. So, how does music affect you?

HHHuummm.....that is a good question...let's see....there are so many, but if I had to pick one that would sum up my 44 years of life, I would have to say...."I am Blessed" because there has to be some one in the spirit world that really loves some one like me unconditionally ( I called Him Jesus). I am totally undeserving of all of the wonderful things and people that are apart of my life. What about you?

Well, depending on when you would have asked me in the past I may have said anything from "Control" to "I got Thunder," but today I am not sure. I'm not even sure I have one at the moment. May have to write something :-)

I had a super craptastic day at work today....on the edge of tears kind of craptastic. But I put in my current favorite CD (which is by my favorite band...) and just listened to it. It didn't make everything sunny and warm again but it did help to suppress the tears a little. And it's moments like that that make them my favorite band; because I always know that if I'm feeling blue, I can put on my Kill Hannah and forget about my troubles for a while.

...HAHAHA!!! CRAPTASTIC?!! I love it. I hope you don't mind. but I gotta share that word with my teen daughter. It sounds like something she would say. Music is always a welcomed treat for me after a long hard day on the grind. Thanks for posting.

Music inspires me each day ..to do good things..for life is a give and take condition..
Music search deep to my soul when it's a song that relates to my Christian life being a follower of Jesus..
