do you update your antivirus regularlly?

I think it's not necessary to update antivirus regularlly.I usually update the antivirus every weekend.The difference between updating everyday and every week is that the new data of updating every week is more than updating everyday.And we needn't update the database everday as our sysytem is safe enough in our daily use.

I use AVG and it automatically updates daily - I also use malware bytes but I have to manually update that every so often. I never thought about limited accounts preventing updates, but I guess you should DEFINITELY make your anti-virus a priority if you are downloading so much stuff that you are near your limit...

Most anti-virus has the capabilities to update every day. So as my antivirus I do however upgrade to new version every time there is new version available on the net. In your case it is sad that you have limited data transfer plan I thought interent today is unlimited. Anyway you still need to update regularly don't worry for the bandwidth because anti-virus programs doesn't always download when they check for updates on their respective server it only downloads when there new update which doesn't likely everyday.

Hello rama it's mandatory to update your antivirus becoz daily u will be visting many websites how ever known to me i think you dont not download but still it's mandatory to update ur antivirus for getting full protection from virus some time hackers will try to enter your pc if u dont have proper firewall or anti virus i even chnage the virus software for every 15 days for better protection and i test all most popular anti virus programe

Sorry ,i don't even care how many MBs it update. And i think to setup an anti-virus software is rather necessary , at least for me.I use Kaspersky KAV and set it update every day when the new virus data releases. So if i see the icon of Kaspersky in my tray repeatly showing a green global images, i know it's updating.

It is very important that you should update your antivirus regularly. I regularly update my antivirus. It takes very limited disk space. If you have limited space in your hard disk than try to manage your computer. Remove those programs which are of no use. If you are not expert in this field than don't do it yourself. I don't need to update my anti virus since it updates itself when a new update is available from the developers. My anti virus updates at least 2 times a day to help me prevent attacks from the newest viruses out there. If you are having a limited plan I suggest that you download all of the available updates as early as you can then just update every week. So that you can lessen the update to be downloaded every week.
