I am planning to but a notebook but I am not sure if it is wise to buy them or not. I know that notebooks are cheaper and lighter than laptops but what about the performance? Have you used a notebook? Do you think it is a better choice? Please share your experience.

So its the power that we have to compromise when we go for a light weight and cheaper one. I was also guessing it but your response has clear my doubts, thanks for replying, happy mylotting.

Hi cybersoft01,
I think it's up to your requirement and your budget. For aspect of performance, laptop is much better than notebook. The notebooks is designed for simple application such as chatting or surfing and so on. If you wanna play complex game, notebook is not a good choice. For aspect of price, notebook is much cheaper than laptop.
I hope my opinion is useful to you. Happy myLotting

hi cybersoft01!
i exchanged my laptop with my sister's notebook .its HP mini. but i found it pretty cool and just the type i wanted. it has all the requirements ,i wanted as i just need basic applications.its too light weight and is easy to carry along. it has multiple ports for pendrive and adaptor but on the downside needs external CD or DVD drive.but i don't mind that much for it perfectly fits my lifestyle.its cool...and am loving it.

I have been using laptops for 3 years now and feel quite comfortable with them as you become habitual of using it. Once a friend came who was using a notebook and I was told by a tech friend that my lapi is far better as there are some applications less which limits their working as well.

Hi cybersoft01! Laptops are more expensive than netbooks but more powerful though. I prefer using a laptop since I can do tasks that requires greater specifications. I've been using a laptop. Most netbooks has low specifications such as the processor used is only intel atom and has a tiny screen. If you are not into gaming or multitasking, just browsing the net or typing documents, a netbook is good. Since netbooks are very portable, it is good for travelers. Happy mylotting!

Hi! I really don't know the difference between the laptop and the notebook, and I have never showed interest about it! Can you explain?
