Just maybe America needs to change the way we look and respect money, the idea of changing the slogan may not be so far fetched as most American people think. Do you feel that this would be an appropriate change to what is already listed on American money?

Why not just leave it the way it has been , for the last hundred years ! Changing the 'In God We Trust', doesn't change the way we feel about 'our' money!

The sad truth about this - it is more so how other people view the way they spend and view money. A prime example can be when the Atheist organization fought to remove daily prayer from the public school system, it is mind boggling to think that the same people that fought to remove the prayer are the same individuals whom worship money without acknowledging God.

The name does not matter. People kill for money in Jesus' name almost constantly. That, and not everyone believes in Jesus, but other religions also have other Gods. Do we really want to create a country where a significant number of people, although not the majority, have religious tensions with our government? Welcome to America, if you're a Christian.

I was trying to get bogged down in the aspect of religion for the sake of being a christian person - this discussion is more so how we view "In God We Trust."

As per my knowledge..,America is a christian country..So the God of a christian is Jesus Christ or trinity..So let it be like that..Changing the slogan is going to change nothing..!!

Your point of view is most valid in response to my discussion, but we must remember when cannot pray to God without acknowledging Jesus first.

Nope, It would be better to stay it that way. But if most of the American people would change their religion from Christianity of other religion, then it would be better to change the slogan.

We should trust in Jesus and God. If we have our trust in Jesus he will speak for us to God. Jesus have the power to judge any people. So we should put our trust in Jesus Christ.
