A friend just recommended to me a new traffic exchange program Hitsilo, and it sounds like a very nice site.
I just joined so I can't give you all the details but they have a 1:1 ratio which is great.
Do you know this site? I'm trying to find more opinions about it

In your reply to the other poster, you said "it's working" for you. In what way? What are you hoping to gain by using HitSilo? I've been a member there since the first day. I joined because I'm a member of TrafficPods, which is also a Logiscape site. It's...ok...for me. I want people to view my sites. My problem with HitSilo is that the timer is too fast. I know how I am when I'm "surfing". I don't pay much attention, especially with such a quick timer. I'm guessing most other people don't either. I haven't gotten any signups to my programs through HitSilo. Things I DO like about it though...it's very smooth surfing. I don't have any problems. I like getting Silo points, although they are not really any use to you unless you're an upgraded member. I like the fact that, based on how many sites I surf, the next day I have people surfing "under me". That's pretty cool. I also like the silo "payouts" of credits that happen once an hour or so. I may only surf 100 sites in a day but the next day when I log in, I've got a couple hundred credits to assign to my sites.

The point of surfing is to get credits to show my sites. I'm a free member and so, yes, there aren't many benefits. Are you reaching "payout" because of commissions? I'm guessing, yes, because there isn't any other way to earn there. My sole purpose of using traffic exchanges is to get the sites I am promoting viewed and hopefully get some sales or sign ups. I'm just saying it hasn't happened for me there. I'm just not willing to "spend money" on any site. I spend my time. That should be enough.

I think you got me wrong. I never suggested that anyone should invest in these kind of sites. I use them for the extra traffic and that's it.
I don't intend on getting money out if it either. I don't think there are too much people willing to pay that kind of fee. At least not people I know

I use it for traffic. I have two affiliate programs that pay 5 cents for every unique visit I bring to them and they have no problem with visits brought by traffic exchange programs.
I don't go overboard with the hits, but each month I reach payout so IT'S WORKING FOR ME. This is what I meant.

1:1 ratio is good, aslong you keep in mind that some search databases will decrease the pagerank of the website promoted through surf alike programs ;) So in other words it could be bad for your site if it is your own you are promoting.

Very true, every program has its downsides, but yet then using alt of different programs can also be a disadvantadge, again depending on the individual programs...

Seems pretty good, although the 1:1 ratio is gone for me.
