i have said this so many times, music is a stress reliever,so when i sing at karaoke it makes me feel a whole lot better, believe me

I am a great believer in the saying "singing is good for the soul" It works with me. Karaoke is a great way to relax, or get an adrenaline rush! Even singing in the bath can take your mind off things. It is like some people using books to escape the real world. Different things for different people.
