If you are going to use the 5800 as a primary music device, then I would recommend buying an iPod + cheap mobile phone, because I have seen my uncle struggling to organize his songs etc..Also the mobile phones from Nokia using the Symbian OS are prone to viruses, so a mobile like 1200 is not very attractive, but you don't need to worry about software update, virus, memory cards etc...
Yes an iPod is an iPod!

I have used 5530 for about 2-3 months. I feel it is ok, except that it reacts not so fast. But that is understandable, because smart phone needs some very high level CPU to run smoothly.
I think in western country, the difference between 5800 and 5530 is just the GPS and the camera pixel. Am I right?
Another issue is that 5800 and 5530 both have SV50 system, which restrict a lot about installing new software on it, so after buying it (or before), it is better to find some site that help you get the certificate file and "key" file. They are essential to authorize the software before you can install to your 5800.
Then, you can really have fun with 5800!

I also like 5530 but no GPS and 3G/HSDPA (correct me if i was wrong)...cheaper than 5800 but not too much..

That's great! With that, you will be able to listen to music while doing your thing on the phone, or while you are travelling. You will just need a good head set.
