I've had cell phones over the years and haven't been able to keep the contract. I'm now on a plan with my boyfriend. I just have a plain phone...it's an LG, not sure of the model.
I am getting better at texting. It seems my children just want to text and text me instead of just calling me. I hate it! Sometimes my daughter won't answer her phone if it rings, but she will reply right away to a text message. Makes no sense to me.

That's a good price!! I don't text and in fact, I don't really use my phone for anything but emergencies--and thank God I haven't had any emergencies. I get mine for $15 a month because I have to buy 150 minutes each month at $.10 per minute. That's the minimum and the minutes roll over every month. I had over 4,000 minutes saved up when I lost my last phone, that really frosted me! But I got another of the same kind with Net 10 and am now up to 450 minutes.
I don't know how to text but my sons in another state both have phones that they are constantly texting on.

About 10 years ago, it was huge compared to the ones now but it was free because I worked for MCI, which stands for Many Changes Instantly. I had it for a long time because it cost less than all my friends did. When I donated it the guys behind the counter started laughing at me, jerks!
