Happy Hanukkah
Blessed Yule
Fabulous Festivus[/b]
(insert whatever holiday you celebrate that I forget to mention here)
and a safe and Happy New Year!
May you all experience joy and peace and my the new year be better than the last.
God Bless.
Oh, I almost forgot to "make it a discussion"...
Do you have any special traditions you practice at this time of year? Is there anything in particular that you do to make it unique? Do you like candy canes?

Merry Christmas to you Kitty. Well one thing I do even though I live alone now is to decorate the apartment nice and festive...I only just got around to decorating the outside of my door which I make look like a gigantic gift...I place gift wrapping up, then a wreath, red velvet bows..the works--couldn't think of a better day to do it then today, the Winter Solstice also known to us Pagan/Wiccans as the celebration of Yule. My tree only has lights on it and the tree topper..still debating whether just to leave it that way..never was much for overdecorating a tree anyway.
To give you an idea what the place looks like at this time of year here's a photo of my place from a year ago. Pretty much the same set up
My apartment really isn't that long looking...LOL..I was using a wide angle lens--still have a few more finishing touches to do to decorate

Hi Kitty and season's greetings to you too!
Maybe we will see more of you next year?
I will be working over Christmas this year which is fine as I have several things going on which I will explain once they sort themselves out later.
I will be here over Christmas just as though it was a normal week.
Take care!

LOL..........good to see you.
I have a number of traditions I celebrate at this time of year, and the hubs is going to get the surprise of his life when he gets home later tonight and finds me dancing by the light of the moon celebrating the solstice. LOL And yes I like candy canes as long as they stay on my tree. Way to sweet for me these days.
Have a great holiday season sweets and we see each other next year....

miss you, how are you? i could say Merry Christmas to you. we have this tradition of nine night church mass before the christmas day, so far i haven't miss one event here. it's good that i could go to church for almost two straight weeks and i see new people everynight, probably not the church goer type. anyways, godbless you

LOL, i'll pick Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas. Nothing really special going on here that day though I intend to give my wife a present. Our three sons are now grown.
A few years back I would pass out "Christmas cheese slices" to the family, but like I said, the sons are not here. One son and his family are coming up from NC next week though.
And I do like candy canes.
