Are you someone who finds it alluring to constantly keep in touch with friends through social networking sites like facebook.Has it become a part of your daily routine. Well you are not alone. There are millions of users like you who keep in tough with friends on facebook.i think that although keeping in touch with long distance friends makes sense but chatting with people in your own neighbourhood makes no sense.I think 'social' networking sites are making people anti-social because u would rather leave a mail to ur next door neighbour than go over and say hi.

Hi friend, The first social network that i joined was Orkut, and i was really addicted to Orkut for till i came across Mylot.I came across Mylot while searching for the ways to make online income. But now am very happy to be here,i enjoy here a lot. I joined in Face book recently and am not yet got familiar with the features there. However i liked it a lot.But i think,am not gonna be addicted with Face book because am already addicted with Mylot,so i don't seeing a chance to Face book.Because the 90% of time that i spend on net is on Mylot ,a day. I really enjoy here, and its a very informative site also. Yeah of course Orkut anf Face book helps to keep in touch with our school friends and college friends. While here Mylot helps to Make new friends from all around the world.Besides this they pay us for being active here. Good Discussion,Good Day To you.

I am not addicted to facebook, but I do have a friend who addicted to it. He always spare a few minutes to write on the wall. Where he is, what is he doing and what he is going to do next. Whenever he turn on his computer, the first page he open is facebook and let it open while he's browsing other sites. When he is going out somewhere, he uses his mobile phone to connect to internet and tell his friends where he is at that moment. Well, the good thing about him, I don't need to bother to text him to ask his position. I just check my facebook and I know exactly where he is :)

Now this is interesting but I think that person would be a couch patato and he doesnt feel like going out and yes u r right that he would be anti social. Coz we friends at facebook often plan thins on facebook. And then share the pics of the visit /dinner or whatever sort of meeting it was. Two weeks ago we went out of town to meet some friends and came back the next morning. We had a hell lot of time and we planned everything on face book. In my view it depends on you what sort of person u are and how are u using this application

I love Facebook, in my eyes it's the best social networking site out there right now, at first I wasn't too fond of it and always used MySpace. However when I got into using Facebook and realizing that all of my friends I went to school with used it over MySpace than I got into it more. I love all the applications on Facebook and the ways you can keep in touch with friends and family, it seems to run a lot faster for me than MySpace ever did. I wouldn't say I'm anti-social by any means, I recently moved to another state and left all my friends and family behind so Facebook is great to have to be able to still talk to eceryone and keep up to date on things going on back home.

well my point is that people of the current generation prefer to meet their peers over the net rather than in person.people spends hours together challenging their friends through the app. games.Howerver like u pointed out its a good way of keeping in touch with old batch mates but people, especially the younger lot are misusing it.

I am not addicted to it but it is the most convenient tool to keep up to date with friends. It is great for posting pics and vids that you want to share. I don't check it everyday so I guess I am not addicted. I hate all the little applications though. Ignore ignore ignore.

I'm on there but I haven't yet gotten the hang of it and navigated my way around it. I get pretty confused with it really. I've had people contact me and when I try to contact them back I have to do that letter de-coder thing so so so many times that I usually get completely frustred and just give up.

facebook not so much... Its kind of lame to me, I like myspace, but I don't get on it all the time... Sometimes face to face or snail mail is best for me. But for people I haven't seen in forever I like myspace, and plus I find people that I haven't seen in years and I think thats the most awesome part of all...

I don't consider myself as addicted to Facebook. But I do log in daily, usually in the morning and at night. I usually check the feeds and updates on my friends. I look at their status messages and photos too. Lastly, I use Facebook for its games like Restaurant City, etc. I use Facebook to keep in touch with my friends who I seldom see, especially those who migrated to other countries.

Hi sabeehkhatib I'm not really addicted to facebook. I don't play any facebook games and still it feels strange to type something not really important in shout out box and share it to all friends. I open it everyday, but just to see who's leave message to me or maybe there's someone posting in my wall and I'll respond to it as part of courtesy. That's it. Oh, and chatting! You know, chatting is free, no need to pay like short text message or phone call. That's why I use it to contact my friend and sometimes to my neighbor. I don't think it is a problem, because we can chatting while doing something else. Besides it, we can share photo or link. If we come directly, maybe we'll disturb him/her from his work and can't share photo (unless we've printed it) or funny links

I guess I am just one of those few people that aren't addicted to the whole Facebook Twitter thing. I just not that interested about what people do every single moment of the day. I do have some friends and family that are really addicted to it and say and tell what is going on in their lives. Sometimes I think some things in your life should be kept private and not exposed to the world.

Nope, I have never used facebook and do not plan on starting anytime soon. Can anyone convince me otherwise? I just don't see anything about facebook that is worth placing my time into. Is there anything I can do on there that will truely benefit my life that I couldn't do in an easier method? Myspace is all I need for internet socializing, how about you?

yeah facebook is nice with the apps, I play castle age, and some mobster with some friends which is cool. as for updating my information or what I am doing slime to none. yeah there are so many people on it for lots of reasons. networking, catching up with old friends, etc, etc. you get the hint. its not too bad really interesting how we can always be in touch with everyone we want to worry about. plus can't keep update with my family.

I wouldn't call it an addiction, necessarily, but i do like to check in on facebook daily and see what's happening with my friends and family. the thing that surprised me most, was that I got involved with so many of the games that you can play. I have to admit that, compared to other video and online games they are not that involved or complex or thrilling, but I go to the links every day and play increasing my levels and whatnot. yea, if you aren't careful, Facebook has lots of ways to waste your time.

I'm really not addicted to the site. I do check it about daily now, so I use it more then I ever used MySpace at least. I'm more inclined to talk to people in other methods and directly is the best. I don't know if social networks are slowly killing socializing face to face, I think it helps those who wouldn't be able to be social in the first place really.

No, it's pretty much the same thing as any other online chat system or something, and unless you have a lot of friends that are always online, you'll basickly be bored all the freaking time

I am not really addicted to Facebook, but I admit it helped me a lot in finding my long lost friends. At least now, we know where the other is, and once in a while, we say hello and chat a little about what's going on.

I am not the man that really addicted on facebook. Maybe I was, but now I think not. I just open facebook looking if there is any message or comment or wall posted from my friend to me. But I open it once I day for severam minutes only, not more than that. Or if I need to chat or give my friend a message or comment or wall I open facebook.
