Have you a wish list?

I can sense the elves rumbling as they try to load Santa's sleigh. I am sure many a children all around the world have written a list of wishes. And they are waiting for that magical eve when time seems to freeze just to find out if their wishes had been granted. My daughter hanged our socks on our respective doors, so the old chubby man wouldn't get confused where to put the correct gifts. Hah! St. Nick had never failed me but my wish list is still blank.... Have you a wish list.

Well, i really don't have and i don't make one ever since. My daughter does not make either, she does not believe in Santa anymore. How i hope Santa is real and he grants everybody's wishes.

Every day of the year, since I was small, I try to be nice than naughty because I always wait for Santa to come to town. I know he sees me when I'm sleeping and he knows when I am awake. So I refrain from pouting and try to be good. I want my gift. And my wishes are always granted. Santa is very real. You have to close your eyes and focus on him. Magical things happen to all who believe from age 1 till 92, ha ha.

Hi eileenleyva..I think everyone has a "wish list". Its not really a bad thing as it gives people something to dream about, work towards, and gives something to look forward to. All my life I have had a list a mile long of things I would like to have and things that I thought I just couldn't live without. Today, in bad health, the only thing I pray for is restored health. I would give up everything I have to have my health back. Material things no longer matter. You can't enjoy those things if you are sick. As I sit here today, and everyday, I wait for the phone to ring. I'm waiting on a vital organ transplant and am getting closer and closer to the top of the list after 2 years of waiting. Without this surgery my time is short. I don't dwell on it as I can't change it. I don't feel sorry for myself as that would get me nowhere and I don't want pity from friends and family. Instead I put one foot in front of the other everyday and try to move forward. I know that God will do what is right for me and I accept that, whatever it is. When something like this happens to you, it changes your whold perspective on life, on everything, and the small stuff just dosen't matter. Sure, I'd love to drive a better car, have a bigger home and wear diamond jewelry but my focus is not on any of that "wish list" type stuff anymore. Health is all I want and with the help of God, I'll be granted it. I have a strong faith and know in my heart of hearts that he will see me through this terrible time. I'm not ready to check out as I still have much to do here. I got thrown this little glich but hopefully next year at this time, I'll be talking to you on mylot..God bless you and yours this holiday season.

Hi sulsisels, you touched my heart there. But here's what... God has always answered my prayers. Tonight I will include you in mine. I am sure that you will get that surgery and will undergo it with flying colors. God answers yes to those who pray deeply. Cry it out to Him. Tell Him that you want a longer extension on life. Tell Him to make every sell in your body to function the way He created them to be. Ask your prayer in the name of Jesus. Then make a solemn promise to offer your new lease on life all for the greater glory of God. Then, this time around next year, we will be chitchatting about miracles! Love you, sulsisels!

My daughter is wishing for a new car. She wouldn't want to be seen in our old jalopy at the university. The material things, and money, matter a lot. That spells convenience and comfort for us. But, like you, I also pray that my loved one be cupped in God's hands. Happy Christmas!

Maligayang Pasko (Merry Christmas) at (and) Manigong Bagong Taon (Prosperous New Year)! Vandana7, Santa has a way of making things fit. I am sure your wish will get into that sock, ho ho ho! A blessed season to you!

At this point I would just be happy if George would quit the drinking and finding of things to yell at me for. I really haven't been able to do much of anything. I know my wishes seem superfical, but in reallity that's the types of things I want. But, I know that's too much to ask for.

Hi kaylachan, I do hope you don't allow George to verbally batter you. Get out of his sight when he does that. Let him hear himself. And probably he would realize drinking ain't the solution to his concerns. Pray that this Christmas brings the change you hope for. I will pray the the newborn Babe for you, too.
