IMassacre in Maccabees.

I was trying to live with the Maguindanao massacre story. No matter how many times I blinked my eyes, hoping that when I open them, I would discover that the Ampatuan killing was just a bad dream, I couldn't escape. It is real! And Andal Ampatuan Jr wouldn't even show remorse with what he did... So I willed to lighten my load by going through the stories authored by the Almighty. And perhaps God did not want me to suffer anymore and He allowed me to peruse the massacre of the Jews by Antiochlus in Maccabees 2. So I read about the martyrdom of Eleazar and the mother with her 7 sons. Antiochlus tortured each one of them to death. God allowed the sufferings and sacrifices because we must realize our transgressions and be sorry.

There is a reason for everything that happens in this earth and it's all part of God's plan. Because of pride, selfishness, stubborness, and lack of faith, we fail to realize that the things that happen to us, may they be good or bad, happens for a reason. God is good and so that reason is also a good reason.

That is really correct, this incident has been a wake up call to everybody especially the government. I only hope that justice will be served and i hope all the government agencies involved is really true in their intentions. Well, lets just wait and see...
