One thing thats really funny and bad too in me is that most of the time while watching movies i fall asleep. If its late night movies its sure i sleep and even i do sometimes during the day time. . . Its stupid too sleeping and the sad part is i miss so many parts of the movie because of falling asleep and sometimes it so happens that i sleep and when i wake up, the movie has already ended. Well, do any of you also have this habit? And if you do, share so memories related to this . . .

I only fall asleep during a movie if I find it boring then my eyes will automatically close and I will drift to sleep.

Hi spiderlizard: I can blame you, there are some movies that are simply stupid. I don't care if the movie have good visual effects, what i care the most if that the plot of the movie is interesting or not, if the dialogues are interesting i will not keep an eye of the action. If this is not like that, it's probably that I'll sleep or simply i will not pay attention to what's happening on the movie. Thanks for your answer. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays. Take Care.

I do not recall falling asleep during a movie. It would be silly to miss the remaining part of the movie due to sleep. Perhaps you could watch the movie during the day.

Hi mrnischalgurung
Luckily, I never fall asleep while watching movies. Maybe because I only watch movie that I think interesting, so I always feel curious about it and definitely won't fall asleep. I prefer to sleep or do other job if I'm not in the mood to watch, either watch movie in cinema or watch DVD with my laptop
Hm, I think it's better to take a rest than fall asleep in the middle of the movie because you lost your money..

HI mr nishalgurung: I don't have this habit, but you know if the movie it's not really interesting for me and it's too late i think i'll be sleeping while watching the movie so fast that I will not notice when I have started to sleep. Thanks God DVD movies exist so you can start the movie again since the part you fell sleep. Thanks for starting this discussion. Really funny i think. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays. Take Care.

If the Movie is SUPER BORING then yes i will fall asleep. but if the movie is suspensful and is action packed then prolly not. Oh yeah and it also depends on what time i am watching the movie.

I dont often fall asleep watching movies. Usually I invest too much time in a movie and feel like its a big waste not to finish it. I fall asleep watching tv all the time though. Its kinda comforting sometimes to have something to listen to.

I always fall asleep. It's annoying and frustrating. I work a lot and raise four children, I love movies and hate that I do it. I've even done it in the movie theater if it's late at night. I think it's that my mind and body knows that the kids are asleep and it's my time to relax, but then my body relaxes too much and just drifts off. I miss so much of the movie and NEVER make it too the ending.

It seems common that I've fallen asleep and woke up when the end credits are playing. It's good when you can rewind it but if you've got to go do something else, your sitting there and going "ah! I really wanted to watch that!"... Though usually the movies I've fallen asleep too I've seen many times before, except recently, lol.

Not usually I dont typically fall asleep while watching movies, because I'm kind of a big movie lover, and when I sit down to watch a movie I try to make it a point to watch the hole thing especially if I went to a movie theater because I dont want to waste my $7.00 dollar ticket. now dont get me wrong I didnt say I've never fallen asleep during movie I'm saying it rarely happens to me, and if it dose happen it only happens at home in front of the TV.

When I don't get sleep I watch some horror flicks.I fall asleep while watching these horror flicks.I don't know how I got used to such movies. In fact I give advice to many of my friends to watch movies if they don't get sleep. Most of the times it works a lot.But I don't sleep in the movie theaters.Generally I fall asleep when I want to.Rarely I watch movies to fall asleep.Nice way to fall asleep.

Sometimes when I had a really stressful day and didn't have enough sleep the night before then I will most likely fall asleep when a movie is on. When a movie is really boring, then I will lose interest and fall asleep too. lol. The movie has to be really good and interesting so my full attention can be focused on it.

Many times when I was still in college. Movie houses here in our country is very nice place to sleep. When summer comes, its very hot and humid here, and the movie houses are a good way to relax and have a good sleep. When examinations are over, I often see a movie and sleep to recover from the nights reviews. I choose the movie which only few people go to. Not really a good idea but its worth it.

I can't fall asleep while sitting up other then in car in the passenger side cause I can put that chair down a bit. now for falling asleep while watching a movie don't happen. when my wife and I watch movies she's always falling asleep miss all the movies that we are watching I end up watching them alone. I can't have her sitting there sleeping while watching a movie either I tell her to go to bed. I can't even sleep with the TV on just not happening, I like it dark and quiet.

Oh yes I some times find my self falling asleep while trying to watch TV or movies. I'll be watching and a commercial come on and I'll think to my self I'll just rest my eyes for a moment and next thing I know the program or movies is over. It's so disappointing especially when it is something you have been looking forward to seeing.

No, normally I do not sleep while watching a movie but sometimes when I am feeling very sleepy and it is a late night movie then I can sleep while watching a movie. I remember a funny incident regarding this. I was sleeping and some of my friends took me forcibly to watch a movie in a theater. I went there. I took to chairs and I slept in the movie nicely. I did not even knew who were the lead actors in the movie. I just slept there enjoying the nice air conditioner there.

It depends on the movie. I'm sad to say if it has subtitles I am probably a goner. I can usually pay attention in most other movies, just having to read every single word the actors say is not something I want to do. My friend is notorious for falling asleep during movies! She's the worst. This one time we were on this student exchange trip in Montreal, and we went to see this really funny movie, I can't remember what it was called. It was definitely not something people usually fall asleep in, and everyone in the the theater was laughing so loudly at the movie. Anyways when the movie was over everyone got up to get out of the theater, and theres my friend out cold. She had been sleeping for more then half the movie. It was hilarious.

That depends a lot. Depends on several things: If the movie is boring, for example, the chances are greater that I fall asleep during the movie. If I have woken up early, the chances are excellent that I fall asleep. But usually I do not sleep... But even if I did not sleep little, or awake early.. I end up sleeping with documentaries about animal life, or those old cartoons of the Ton and Jerry, those things.
