Is your present status/situation the desire you like when you were a teenager?

I am where I wanted to be. I am married to a wonderful man that is a gentleman. I have two amazing sons. I would like at least one more to try for a girl but I just had my second this past May so I'm fine to wait a few more years. We own our house have two cars. I think we are in excellent status. We did it right, got married had some time to ourselves, bought a house and then started our family by our 5 year wedding anniversary. Our parents wish they could have been where we are when they were our ages. In our family we are the ones doing pretty good. Finances are not where we want them to be right now but in a few months things should be just fine. My husband keeps advancing in his career and I am happy to not work and not let someone else raise my kids for me. I know that not everyone has the luxury to stay home with their kids like they may want to but the ones that do should really enjoy it. When the kids are in school then I'll consider a part-time job during school hours but we'll see if I even need to. I love my life!

I'm a writer. I wanted to be a writer when I was 12. It's the only career choice I ever wanted, well that and political organizing. I do wish, however, that I lived in a bigger city on a better bus route. I'll make it to NYC someday, you'll see!
