Blue Jays to acquire Mariners' pitcher Brandon Morrow

According to some sources, starting pitcher Brandon Morrow is about to be shipped to the Toronto Blue Jays for relief pitcher Brandon League and a prospect. To me, this looks like the Mariners are selling low on the #5 overall pick in the 2006 amateur draft. Morrow is controlled through 2013, while League is controlled through 2012. What are your thoughts on this trade?

If you're a Blue Jays fan, you have to like it. Morrow had a lot of up side upon being drafted but hasn't panned out like Seattle had hoped. Sometimes in young pitchers case, changing organizations (along with coaching staff) can turn a career around. I feel bad for the Jays as they play in the most consistent division in baseball.
