If it was nice lullabies or jazzy blues, I wouldn't mind leaving it on :)

I can sleep with or without music. But if there's a music, I want it to be a love songs. It's like a lullaby to me.

Well i always sleep with music and its always the melody kind of instrumental musiq, like violen, keyboard and flute. I love to sleep as it creates a peaceful atmosphere to sleep well.

I can't sleep with music on as I start to listen too properly to the music and then it actually keeps me awake. I've never tried with soft lullaby type music though so perhaps it would work.

My roomie has to have a "talking book", if I have the ocean waves, that's more than normal - I don't like music or talking, because I'll listen to them rather than sleep - and I have ENOUGH trouble sleeping as it is! (see, its 2:15 and I'm awake!)

Hi, persona, I usually sleep without any music or autobook. Once my head touch the pillow, I will fall asleep soon. But yes, I also cannot sleep sometimes. Then I listen the music with slow and gentle melody. Then before I fall asleep completely, I will turn it off. Haha... Because once I couldn't sleep, and I listened the music, the result is also great - I fell asleep soon. But a few hours late, I waked by the music. So I turn off the music later in order that I won't wake until the morning. And enjoy mylotting!

I never tried to actually sleep with music on. I've rested my eyes while listening to music but never slept. I don't think I could do it. I do however have to sleep with a fan on at all times, even in the winter turned away from me.
