What is difference between legit site and trusted site?

Well the most probable meaning which I could imagine of is that Trusted sites can be classified as the ones which have a long history and have build up such a good reputation that a Trust has been established between the users and the website. There is almost no chance of anything wrong. On the other hand if we take the term legit , we can infer from it is that the work which they are performing is authentic as of now or till date but due to short period of time of operating , they cannot be said as fully trustworthy because there can be a chance for some debacle at some moment.

Hi umer5222, I think iheartdr0mztm pretty much summed it up. All the 'trusted' sites are 'legit', but they've been running a lot longer, so people can completely trust them, whereas the legit sites are not completely trusted, meaning they could stop paying any time.
