Avatar, before its release, had created a lot of hype... but according to the reports thats coming up, we have not that good news on its feedback... but if the box office collections are to be believed, Avatar is doing good business... making up $73 Mn in first 3 days of its release worldwide... made on a budget of $ 230 Mn, it was expected to breakeven within the first week itself, but sad it will not be able to do that... the story is good, the direction too and the special effects are breathtaking, but its lacking something... may be not, but the hype that it has created have taken a toll on the perception of the viewers... what do you feel, how is Avatar as a movie... seen it??? enjoyed it???

I haven't seen Avatar yet, but a couple of friends did and enjoyed it very much. I'll wait for a month or so until a good quality copy appears on the Internet. I don't really care about how much money the producers make - I think they always make much more money than they should, considering the world's degree of poverty, so I only judge movies by how much I enjoy them.

Something I feel lacking of this film, it storyline wast too fast -_- we just give an idea that jake already really close to native pandora. It will be great if the movie being split, and have more focus like lord of the rings. But its still worth to watch

yes it is indeed a visual treat... and you have seen it in 3D, so you will get the feel more... but i felt there is nothing new in the story...

I haven't seen it and will probably wait until it's available to rent for $1. To me, it's the same old story of a guy saving a world and falling in love. There are supposedly fabulous special effects and superb animation that look like real people but that's just hype to me. My theaters here aren't equipped to show 3-D anyway. There's nothing new, just old stories dressed up with new effects. I'm not going to waste $10 to see it.

Ya i can understand...wasting $10 for this movie would be a waste... but if you love visual effects, you must see it in a theater because that effect will not come when you watch it in 21 inches TV or monitor...

I think Avatar is very nice to see, I have not seen the new Avatar. They fought against their enemies to create a peaceful life. Types of elements they have to be careful not to wear to destroy the earth.

Oh wow I heard it got good reviews from people and off course I heard it got bad reviews. I know Sigourney Weaver thought it was going to beat Titanic on opening weekend at least thats what she said during an interview. I did not think it was going to beat Titanic But I thought it would of come close to it but I guess it has not. I have not seen this movie yet so I cant review it.

Lot has been written about Avatar for the last 1 month or so... if you talk about the revenue, it is easily going to cross Titanic's record... but if you take inflation in account, then may be Titanic will be well ahead at this moment...

i am wtching avatar cartoons and i don't mind if it has a different view on the cartoon ones. as long as the effects are good and can bring fun to viewers i guess it is just al right. i haven't seen it yet in movies.it's still the next attraction.

If you like special effects and sound, you would definitely like Avatar... it is a visual treat, no questions about that... you must see this movie at least once and if you get to see it in a 3D support theater, nothing like it...
