I am very upset about my son he is 4 and half years of age but still he wets the bed, how do i stop this habit, he is too old to wear pampers, and getting his size is also not easy
i dont let him drink lots of water in the night but he still does it, i wake him up 2 -3 times in the night to use the toilet but if i sleep well and dont get up how do i stop this habit

dont get upset about it - that will only make it worse. some times people take more time than others. he WILL grow out of it. i know some adults who still wet themselves. its embarrassing, but hey they make adult diapers for a reason.

Hi
My three old had stopped bed wetting very soon,I mean she is completely off Diapers. It was a bit of exercise for me but it worked.I suggest don't give your son any fluid after 5pm and also make a habit of taking him to the toilet once before bed and then a few times in the middle of teh night. You can continue this for about one week and then slow it down to a once in the middle of the night
You will see a lot of difference,
Hope that helps!!!!!

Before you get upset there can be a medical reason for his wetting the bed. At night his bladder might be making more urine than it can hold. He may not feel the urge to get up and go. His brain might not be getting the signal that his bladder is full. This can take place until he is 5 or6 years old. More than 5 million kids still wet the bed until they are older. Some times they make more urine at night than uring the day.

I used to cut my daughter off by 6:30-7pm. She could drink up till then but not after that. That way by the time her 8pm bed time came around she worked through it. I'd make sure she went to the bathroom before she went to sleep. That usually worked. They make those pull ups that look like underwear that I think come in bigger sizes.

Don't be upset, some kids just take longer than others...Instead of using Pampers on him at night, try using pull-ups. This gives them more of a feeling of wearing underwear. Every child is different so don't compare him to other 41/2 year olds. They all have their own progress speed. Reward him when he does good and he'll be out of this phase before you know it! Good luck!
