Ever counted stars at night?

wow..that is a great experience..I have tried to count the stars too. Life of a child is something special...It is a carefree life without any commitments..And when I was a child, I too have tried to count the stars.It is really an impossible one..but still it brings immense pleassure at that stage..I could still remember how happy I felt when I tried to count the stars and how confused I was when I counted the same stars.

i am an amateur astronomer so i usually look for the north star the constellation and such.

Yes, I sometimes count the stars at night while I was child, That's really funny. you can image that there are so many stars at the sky and there are moving, I can't count them all at one time, but the second night, I can't almost find them which I had counted at some area, I don't even know at that time, but now I see what happen. Nowaday, I'm really interest in the space science. I still want to count the star at night, But what disappointed me is the air will never as much clean as before, I can't find any more star at the space above the city I'm living, I can't count them all. only at my hometown, I still can find many star twinkling at the sky at night. That's wonderful, I feel I'm back to my childhood.

No to be honest I never once counted the stars I never even thought about counting the stars at night time since there are just to many stars to count but I do like staring at the stars though at night time since I find space so fasinating wish I could get a telescope so I can view them closer.

I remember when I was a kid, the stars are so bright in the sky at night. In summer as it's very hot to sleep inside the room, we will make a simple bed beside the road or even sleep on the roof just to be cooler. At that time I can the stars so clearly and will try to number them but almost failed each time I tried as there's too much stars in the sky, I'll soon fall in sleep zzzzz...lol

Back when I was a young child, i really tried counting the starts for I though I could do it but then I realized that it was very impossible to do. Counting the stars may somehow be fun for we can count it endlessly and I guess it can be done by someone who couldn't fall asleep. We may feel tired counting endlessly so we may end up sleepy. But honestly, I never counted the stars anymore because I don't wanna act so fool. But, I do love watching the stars above at night.
