For those of you who are into article writing, I would like to seek an advise if participating in articles in Helium would be better or do you think Associated Content is a much better place?
I would like to sign-up for a new article writing site but not sure if I should join Helium or Associated Content.
Please advise as per your experience.

I think both are fine, though I'm more familiar with Associated Content by now already. The uploading of articles is pretty straightforward and easy and we can only earn from page views since we are located outside US. But if you can write SEO related articles, chances of higher page viewing is definitely in the cards. I do know that Helium needs at least 1 rating star for your articles to earn. I've not tried it out as actively already since my first payout. Perhaps in future, but normally I'm just on Associated Content.

as far as i know helium got rid of us: the non-americans since they say they want to be fair to all as only english speaking natives get their no. 1 spots in their ranking process which determines the earnings. that's crap. i had a no. 1 article there on best friends for the whole time asian writers weren't yet pulled out.
as for associated content am not pretty sure about it.
triond.com is where i write. it pays ! or you could try blogging here in mylot. i find it a little complicated though. i still have to ask help from my techie husband.
