Are You Afraid of the DARK?

Hmmm nope im not afraid of it. But when I hear creepy noises in the DARK thats where I fell im afraid. Hehehe But in terms of phobias im not afraid of it also. Maybe causious in some way but not afraid.

personally no I ain't afraid of the dark, especially with great looking women like u woo hoo lol, sorry slightly off topic, but no I ain't the dark is just another part of the day tho my eldest kid is scared of dark but each to their own I guess thats why each of us is different.

Yes, I am afraid at the dark. When I was a kid, I was so much afraid of the dark that when the lights are already turned off, I just close my eyes and promise ot myself not to open it again until the morning comes. But right now, not so much anymore. Just light. I can manage staring in the dark for so long. But still afraid of it sometimes. It just really depends on the situation.

I am not always afraid of the dark, but if I am very tired my imagination fills it with evil. There are other times when the dark is gentle and warm. I guess it just depends on my mood of the moment.

There is nothing happen to me in the dark. What I hate is my imagination that crawling everytime the light is out. When we are experiencing black out here in our place you will hear people screaming, while me I am not but you can hear me complaining while I am getting my phone to use its backlight as a temporary light. AFter lighting the candle, I am totally relieved, but i can't look at the dark part of the house. I am imagining there is someone standing there, not like us. IT gives me a creeps although there is no one there. I can sleep with one candle but sleeping with no lights at all I am drowned by the dark. To bring back the question, the answer is yes and no one will want to live in a dark, so I am a consistent Meralco subscriber.

Not at all, I know there is nothing in the dark that there isn't in the day light. Its whats in the dark that I might be afraid of...lol.

No, I'm not particularly afraid of the dark. I am afraid of heights.

If I am in a creepy place like a cemetary or old house. I am mostly affraid of the unknown. If know the area and all the doors are locked I am usually good to go. I have to play brave usually because my grandson is affraid of the dark. Any darkness. So have to be cool and not be affraid for him.

I am not afraid of the dark and I don’t remember a time when I was but my eight year old is very much scared of darkness and that is the reason she has not slept in her own bed for months! I have no idea why she has such a fear but there it is and I hope she’ll get over it as she gets older because she cannot sleep in my bed indefinitely. She will not even close one eye if she’s in the dark! My husband told me he used to have the same fear but he got over by the time he was eleven! Fingers crossed...

Usually, not. But if I have watched some scary movie and I go home late at night I will be afraid. I was very afraid of dark when I was child, and didn't want go out after 7-8 o'clock, because it was already dark out there and I was scared!

Yes, I was afraid of the dark when I was a kid due to stories of ghosts and horror movies. During my childhood years I can't sleep alone in my bed. Even if we were three in our room, I'd jump in the middle of my brothers' bed until I felt safe and secured gazing at the dark. But I have overcome that kind of fear now that I'm grown-up. And what I'm a bit afraid now is walking in the dark not because of those silly ghosts or creepy creatures but persons who might attack me like muggers, robbers, and other thrill-seeking stalkers.

I guess I am not afraid of the dark, itself, just that people and things can hide in it.I remember that show.It scared the crap out of my daughter when she was little!!

I am afraid to a point. I have been this way for many years now. When night comes and I am somewhere else I won't go out by myself. Also I need to have some kind of a night light on in the main room. I have to able to see my bedroom doorway or I can't fall asleep. Have a good christmas and remember to smile.

I am not afraid of the dark, but I am at times afraid of what might be in the dark that I can't see. It is similar to being afraid of the unknown. I am not necessarily afraid that a monster is going to jump out at me in the dark, although some humans can be monsters and that is a very real possibility that does occasionally scare me when I am walking by myself at night, like when I used to have to walk to my car after work. However, I am more afraid of tripping over something, stepping on something (like a toy that my little one left on the floor) or stepping off something outside (like into an unseen whole in the ground) and falling and hurting myself. What about you, Krystalheart? Are you afraid of the dark? Is it the dark that scares you or what might be in it that you can't see? Did something happen to you in the past that made you feel this way?

At first yes I was afraid but I learned to overcome it coz I live mostly alone because I have to live in a condo but then I realized that there is nothing to be fear of, not even a ghost. If you can't see something you can't see then what are we supposed to be afraid of right? But if you have a phobia then there is a psychology problem involved there :D
