Don't You Share your "Secrets" on Mylot?

I love to share my secrets with my friends.Since i just signed in Mylot for only 3days, i haven't made enough friends to chat with.Secrets should only be shared with close friends.

I think it's best to hold your secrets in. You never know who's out there. Manipulative people do exist and not everyone is as trusting offline as they appear online.

No I never share things online that I consider to personal because as much as I love the net, I realize that the net is not completely safe and everything is not and should not be shared for the whole to view especially on mylot because its there forever once its posted you can't take it back unless mylot decides to make a delete feature near old post, its just not worth the risk with all due respect to mylot and the mylot community. We have to be safe and not lower our guard to much online.

well.even on real life everyone have secrets and how could one share all his/her secrets on line ? i always respect others privcary and have no interest to reveal it if somone on to not like to tell. also i won't tell all my secrect online so just keep a cool mind on line and do not trust anything easily.

A forum such as this gives an opportunity to learn from each other and according to me is not meant to share one's secrets. If anyone has problems they are aired here just to get opinions/solutions and in that process may be some secrets would be revealed.

I think that some people trust strangers online more than their friends coz they thought that they wouldn't be betrayed. And some don't coz if you publish your secrets here in mylot, it will receive good and bad feedbacks and it will affect your insight in life. As for my opinion, a secret will not be a secret if it is already shared to all right? So publicly anouncing your secrets will not be secret anymore. I can share secrets but not all :D

Actually, I never did trust ANYONE, not my so-called "family", my (ex-)friends, nor my Mylot and Non-MyLot friends. I'm not someone who shares secrets freely. There are secrets that i'd rather take with me six feet under. I would NEVER reveal ANY secrets to any human on the face of ANY time, ANY place. EVER. Sorry, but my lips are sealed. I still care about MY privacy and MY secrecy, and i'll make sure that my secrets STAY secret. It's no one's business but my own, and I prefer to keep it that way. Again, my lips are sealed!

I don't think people hide their secrets here. All of them have openly discussed their issues regarding relationships especially. Why would anybody post issues regarding betrayal and abuse in marriages and relationships and other personal things, when they don't even know anybody here personally, but still look for an opinion? :-) I think they are sharing their personal lives very openly here. That itself is a big secret coming out of the box.

sahilpadhiyar yes and no. It depends on what the so called secret really is. I am not one to hide most of my life from anyone as I have no real secrets to hide. Although there are part of my life that are nobody's business but mine unless I really want to share something. It would have to be with someone I could really trust too. But I have no deep dark secrets that I would be ashamed to reveal, I am a very honest person who has always been very open to others. I am shy, and would not talk as much to anyone's face as I can do here in writing. but I have no horrible secrets at all.

Well it is a virtual world, so I would not take to seriously any secrets shared here. I often tell stories about things I see or people I know, but often I leave you to believe they are about me. After all I couldn't really tell you any secrets about anyone else could I. People I talk to often seem to know this since I have never made a secret of it. I will answer seriously if asked or if I think I can help someone. Blessings

Yes i share alot of secrets with mylot i feel like mylot is my family. I've told many mylot users deep dark secrets just because i couldn't hold it in any longer. It might not mean much to them my secrets but they mean alot to my family. The only time i reveal my secrets is when i need advice about it. Or i need someone to comfort me. Like when i was going through a tough one time being depressed and being bullied i didn't tell anyone and mylot friends help me feel alot better. One girl even talked to everyday she didn't want me to do anything i would regret. Which is really sweet because i don't think we get paid for writing private messages to eachother back forth.

It depends on what the thing is your sharing. If it's something that could get you fired or in trouble with the law then I don't really suggest it, you never know who's on these sites. If it's just petty gossip about random things, then go ahead. I like to admit things on here, it's kind of like a confession for me because nobody I know goes on this site. I wouldn't suggest admitting to cheating on someone on here or having a second family, you never know who could read this.

I guess it all depends on you. I share some of my secrets also. But in the end its up to you because its YOUR secret and its up to you if you want to trust the other mylotters.

Hmm.. I guess they keep them as secrets so they have something very "special" to share when situation calls for it. So, what secrets do you have there? ^^

I think one should think long and hard about sharing personal information online period. Once you write it , its pretty much out there for everyone to see and to share with others without you knowing. I guess for me how i look at it is if others recieve this information about me would i care? If the answer is no then i go ahead and talk about it. I think we just need to be cautions about somethings.

Hi, Well I think it is not a good idea. Sharing Your Secrets on any site. I Believe some people might misuse it against you . No we should not reveal our secrets on Mylot.

well i havent shared any secret of mine on mylot yet but i do love to read secrets of others ..!!!!!! well everybody does like to read secrets of others [:p]lol.....

of course we cant do that because our secret cant be shared to other member,too dangerous and because if we share about that they make you have a problem or something like that,i never give give or share my pasword to other member,and trust me thats better than someone make you have a problem ..we agree with you
