About Collecting things....

I'm collecting stones from different places and write the name of the place on it. So it means the more stones, the more places I travelled. So that when I grow older I could have more memories to remember in the places I went.

I began collecting costume dolls in 1990. Now after visiting so many different countries I have a large collection of them. My last trip wad to South Africa and I found some ones there made from colorful beads. I went to Romania in 2006 and bought a doll carved from wood. I have collected some bank notes and coins from around the world. In my collection the best I have are a triangular coin and a three dollar note from the Cook Islands. I have brought back postcards from different locations in the world. I have albums for my currency and my postcards. I keep my dolls on the middle shelf of my glass display unit. Above on the next shelf are my travel photo albums.

I had different kinds of collections when I was younger. I collected stickers, pens, souvenirs and postcards. I had a big collection of postcards, and I put them all on my wall. My wall was completely covered by postcards. I bought postcards when I visited a new place and my friends knew that I collected postcards, so they all sent my postcards from the places that they visited. When I moved I gave my collection of postcards to a friend. Now I collect music from around the world. When I visit a new country, I try to find some information about the local bands so that I can buy some cds. I went to Latvia and Lithuania this summer and I have bought cds from both places. I love to listen to music from other countries, and in my collection I have music from European countries as well as some Asian countries.

I used to collect stationary pads and stickers when I was younger.I love scented stationary papers.I also used to collect letters from friends.now that I am older,I settle for collecting things I could use.I collect shoes,perfumes,and lingerie.

I collect nail polish. I have loved nail polish ever since I was young, but I did not really start collecting until recently. I do not how it happened but I suddenly got really interested in nail polish and I had to change the color on my nail every few days. I started buying a few bottles every week and that is how my collection started.

When I was younger I use to collect stamps, and recently I've gotten really into it again. There was a point in my life where I felt "too cool" to collect things, but I think as you mature you happily express yourself in anyway possible. My grandmother use to quite like frogs, I inherited quite a few frog keyrings and some frog-esque cutlery. (:

i used to collect different different fallen leaves in my childhood and keep them in books it was a grt fun i like to collect movies and books i love doing that....
