Why is MEDICAL WRITERS in demand on freelance jobs?

Several months ago I registered into freelanc jobs and I found out that there is a bulk of job hiring with MEDICAL WRITERS...they are required to make health articles...I just wonder, WHY IS MEDICAL WRITERS IN DEMAND? Is it because many people nowadays rely on the infromation from the internet whenever they feel sick or is it because many students research on the internet alone and not on the libraries when it comes to medical reports? please clarify me on this...thanks.

Well generally people with knowledge in medicine are in demand.

I really do hope so because I myself have a medicaly inclined profession and at the same time I love writting...but the price per article is very cheap...I do hope they pay higher this time. THanks for the comment. Happy mylotting.

Plenty of people turn to internet for information and hence medical writers are in demand. People are hungry to know about cures. Some people want to cross check if their doctor is telling the truth. So they turn to internet. Information is what everyone wants. So medical writers are in demand.

You got a real point there nishdan01, people are indeed hungry for informations and they resort first on the internet...most especially about their disease and with regards to the cure. Yes, that's true...they wanted to cross-check if their doctor's are treating them the right medications and all. Thanks for the comment.
