What is the one gift you wanted but never got for Christmas?

I think I was extremely lucky growing up. It seemed like we almost always got what we asked for.
We didn't have alot of money but my father was in a second hand business and bought returns from SEARS Departmant Stores.
So my mother would go out and get a sears catalog every year and let us kids go through it and pick out what we wanted. Then my father would strategically buy toy lots that contained these toys. Of course he made quite a bit of money selling the other toys from this lot but in the mean time he also got us kids what we wanted for Christmas.
We didn't watch much TV so we really didn't see other toys on the TV, so all we really new of was the toys from the Sears catalog until we got much older.
But that was OK because we really got most everything we asked for wich is a heck of alot more than most.

A radio remoted car. I have always wanted one, but I didn't get any. And I don't know really why. yes, they were expensive when I was child, but now they aren't so I can buy myself on for Christmas, am I right?

Hi, I sure hope you go out and buy yourself a remote control car for Christmas. As you say they are not too expensive anymore and it does not matter your age. You are never too old for one. Just ask my husband. They are fun at any age.

Idid ask for a pet one year an didnt get it but 5 months later on my birthday my dad gave me some money an told me to go to the petshop an pick out what I wanted so I picked out Dusty my first pet he was a hamster so I got what i wanted just took awhile

Awww. How sad you must have been to not get your pet for Christmas. It is really heart breaking as a child to want something so bad and not to get it. But luckily your father got it for you soon after. I think the best part is that he let you pick what you wanted. That must have been neat.

One gift i wanted for christmas this year is a karoke machine. I got one when i was younger and i got another when i was even younger. One i still have but i just can't find the cord and the other just broke. The microphone just fell apart and the machine doesn't even play music anymore. It cost 100 dollars and only lasted a year. I don't know if i just got a crappy one or if everyone is like that. I took real good care of mine and i didn't use it much only about 10 times. In a full year but when i did play with it i played with it and sung with it for about 2 hours or so.

I think the one gift that I alaways wanted but i never got was a psp, ever since it came out. Up until this day, i still haven't gotten it... It's sad.

Hi, Sorry that you never got this as a gift. Any way you might go out and buy it for yourself someday. Giving yourself something once in a while doesn't hurt.
I hope you recieve one someday.
