Candy not made anymore.

Do you have any favorite candy that is not made anymore but you wish was still around? Any candy that reminds you of being a kid? I can't think of any and I hope this discussion reminds me of some because I've been a fan of candy for a long time and I know there must be some sweets that I've forgotten about.

I don't know about ones that aren't made at all any more, but i have a couple that i cannot find anywhere here on the east coast that i used to be able to get where i lived back in the midwest US where i grew up. One of them is Twizzlers Nibs. They are similar to twizzlers licorice, but instead of bieng strawberry flavored, they are cherry flavored, and they are in bite sized pieces. And they are not hollow, just a solid little chewy bite *yum*, but i haven't ever seen them out here in maine where i live now, though i know they are still made, as i can get them when i go back to visit my family. the other is Cherry Mash chocolate candies. It is a little more understandable that i can't find these out here, as i believe they are prodused in Iowa, and are kind of a local specialty. Hmmm..how to describe them...think of a chocolate/peanutbutter no-bake cookie that is filled with a sweet cherry flavored sugary fluffy substance. I know tht isn't a good description..but that is the best i can do!

Oh I love Nibs! I live in Canada and we can get them everywhere. They even have the longer Nib, like a twizzler and you can get them in a few flavours.

I know that there is cherry and black licorice for sure, but there might be one more flavour, I'll have to check it out. It's weird that some candy is not available in some places. I know that whenever I go to the US I always come back with a bunch of candy that we don't have in Canada.

When I was a kid, there was a small candy shop quite close to my school. You'd tell how many you wanted, two of those and 5 of those, so you could just by one if you wanted. They had two kinds I haven't seen since, some yellow bombs, very sour, and some that looked like small mushrooms. I've eaten both in similar version but they have never been as good.
