How long have you been doing PTC? Found any good sites lately?

I wondered because they have been around in one form or another for a long time. I remember when the internet was still new that PTC popped up. I was looking for ways to earn money online way back in the late 1990's when I first saw maybe one of the first PTC websites. It had the name 'dollars' in it. I don't remember the entire name and I am sure it doesn't exist anymore. It made you download a toolbar that you would use to do searches and would notify you of when there were ads to view. You had to be active in the toolbar to receive money. Also you couldn't just leave it running because after a certain amount of time not using the toolbar you would become "idle" and wouldn't earn any money. I don't believe I ever earned enough to be paid because it was very boring to have to stay at the computer waiting for ads to come up and it was probably one of those scam sites anyway. LOL! Anyway, ptc has really come a long way. I guess I have been at this off and on since 1998 but a lot of off time in between then and now. I have been consistently on for the past 5 months. I am always looking for better, legit sites. What helped me to find better sites was friends on here, gptboycott, beenpaid, and annika's site for ptc, gpt, and surveys.
