On 1st of November I decided to make each of my daughters a hand knitted garment for Christmas. I had my doubts about whether I would manage it but, yesterday, I finished the final garment. All of my girls are grown up and not of small build, (to put it nicely), two jumpers and one knee length cardigan in the time. I'm quite proud of myself.
Have you ever set yourself a task thinking you wouldn't finish it in the amount of time you had?

Mostly that's work related things where I just barely squeak by. Now as for knitting, I guess that probably won't ever happen. My mom tried to teach me when I was a teenager and gave up in frustration...

My mum tried to teach me and ended up teaching my dad who had more patience and he taught me.

WTG Nana! Will you be able to see their faces when they open their presents and find your beautiful hand knitted garments on Christmas day, I sure hope so! What a great achievement, you 'should' be right proud of yourself, I think a lot of us are guilty that we do not give ourselves the rightful credit we deserve! I am trying to recall a time when I have set myself a task, but I can't readily recall because I get too frustrated and I am not the most patient of people so I probably haven't! Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family dear friend. Wolfie Hugs xxx

I'll only see one of them opening hers but I know the other two will like what I've made.
Merry Christmas to you too. Take care and make 2010 be proud of wolfie year.

Yes you can or I could make a slanket for you. That's a blanket with sleeves, one size fits all.
