Has anybody ever texted or fake text someone in really really awkward situations?
I must admit I am guilty of doing that. Sometimes when there are only 2 people in the room, it gets too quiet when you dont have anything to say. Once it gets is when the awkwardness starts. You brain starts rushing and being weird because the situation is so awkward and you try to think of something to say and fast.

Yeah, I do that sometimes because I want to act as though I'm doing something or I have something that I'm busy with. I try to come up with something to say to the other person though when it gets awkward while I pretend to text or text some people I don't normally text to so it doesn't get as weird as it already is. I end up texting random people out of boredom because I really don't have anything to do and I don't have much to say to the other person.

I do the same thing. its weird the things you do in an awkward situation. But sometimes its funny when you actually witness a situation like that because you know what they are doing. Haha
But at least when you text a random person you can catch up with them after not seeing them for a long time. Thats not a bad thing. =]

hahah, actually I do that a lot. If I don't feel like making eye contact or I am in a situation where I feel awkward or out of the circle I pretend to text someone. Or if I see someone that I know but haven't talked to in a while and don't really want to talk to again, I'll do it to avoid them.

haha its funny how a lot of people do it. Yea its really helpful in really awkward situations because it gives you an exucse to not talk to them but not realy rude way. Its really funny the next time i see someone text when its quiet because I know what they are doing. FAKR TEXTING...
