for me it was living right beside a house that went up in flames, the fireman had to make us all leave our house for fear it would catch on fire, we were 100 families out on the street waiting for them to get the fire under control.
the firemen thought the whole block would go up if the fire heat the gas main.
what was your experience?

Probably the time my sister and I were surrounded by a pack of wild dogs on the way to church... I was already afraid of dogs, but that didn't help any. Luckily, someone came along in a car and scared them away.
I was held up at gunpoint a few years back, but it didn't really scare me.

I didn't look too closely. To me, they were wild dogs. They could have been feral, or just "pets" running rampant. In those days, people let their dogs run loose, but these were a snarly bunch, maybe 10-12 of them. I couldn't have been much more than 8 at the time. There was a large wooded area nearby, not to mention a lot of vacant lots.

There were many scary times in my life but just a few weeks ago, I was at work. I work with developmentally disabled adults. They can not talk and tell us how they feel and often get violent when they are ill.
Well, I was driving and all of a sudden this guy jumps in the seat next to me, picks up the fire extinguisher and heaves it into the windshield smashing it.
I got lucky, it could have been my head getting hit and then we could have hit a tree or gone into oncoming traffic.

that reminds me of the first day I interned at the mental hospital. We were having our morning monday meeting and one of the patients came in wanted something or other my boss told him he could not disrupt the meeting and had to leave. The guy insisted he had to be heard and my boss said you cannot disrupt the meeting go back to your therapist once the monday meeting is over and talk to her about it.
The guy got really angry and slapped the door so hard he broke it.
This was my first day at work lol

The scariest time was when I was a kid and it was night time and a couple friends and me were in the cemetary at night (lol, don't ask why), we heard noises, checked it out like boys will saw some people in hoods and stuff chanting, they saw us and chased us through the cemetary, now that was down right terrifying, no idea what would have happened if they had caught us, probably nothing but when you are a kid, in a cemetary at night with weird hooded people chasing you, that is scary as hell!!

I am not sure what they were doing, but in Victoria and that is where I was, and it was in Rossbury Cemetary and Victoria is known to have the highest witches around..
So no idea what they were doing there but we shouldn't have been there in the first place..lol..

I think the scariest moment for me has to be when I was driving back from taking my husband to work. We where in the lane next to the brick wall and a semi truck was next to me. I had both my kids in with me, and I noticed that the driver was slowly trying to push me over into the wall. My kids started to freak out and I laid on the horn and pushed back. We didn't touch each other, pushing back is a term meaning I didn't let him bully me. I guess he was tired and didn't realize that someone was in my lane. He learned fast and got back into his lane. This also happened a 2nd time, except the driver knew what he was doing. It scared me because the driver was trying to push me into a car in the other lane. Again, I had to push back and not let the driver bully me over. It's been awhile since I did any long distance driving, so I wouldn't be prepared for it.

Well, I could understand the semi truck driver. Being that it was still early in the morning, and they are normally tired from driving for a long time. It didn't justify what he did, because he could have pulled over when he got tired. Now the other driver, he knew better. I mean he knew he couldn't get over yet because I had someone in the other lane next to me. Plus I was following behind my husband in a military convoy, so I didn't want to lose them. I stood my ground and didn't budge. That other drier learned fast to slow down and wait his turn.
Merry Christmas to you as well, my friend.

I think for me the scariest times had to do with my daughter. She was into some scarey stuff during her teen years. Stoled her step dad's car once. That was scarey. His anger was too! And the numerous time she ran off and the things I found out later she was into. Ya, that was probably the scariest for me!

Yes I had my friend. That was a couple of years ago when I and my wife went to our home province riding a boat. After an hour from our boat departed the engine down exploded due to some licking of gas as what they said after.
The explosion went up to the last level accommodation of the boat where we accommodated.
The boat stopped and everything went dark and the power never restored. Some of the passengers attempted to jump to the sea but it was just stopped by some passengers.
Upon explosions, some part of the boat exhaust system blowed up that I got some of those itchy materials (fiber glass materials, asbestos) hit my back portion...It was so itchy, and I thought the boat would get fired..
Well, that was the worst scariest experience I would never forget...Thanks..
