To be successful in Blogging, you must first find a niche in which you enjoy and you are good at. That niche must have a wide range of audience it could be gardening, business, sports anything that would make people visit your blog regularly. A nice theme, good and quality post. By the time you know it, you've generated traffic and earned a decent amount.

Personally, I find it easier to use a blog to generate traffic for a money making project than it is to actually earn directly from a blog. The problem with blogging for money is that people can tell that you are just doing it for money. The blog that I have made the most from, as in people have gone on to read my articles elsewhere or buy product from me, is one that I started out because I was interested in the subject. Even if I was not making a dime from it, I would still be doing it. Therefore it does not look like the typical money making blog, and people actually come back to read it on a weekly basis.
