It is Christmas and New Year time. Many are getting so excited to get together and have happy parties. Some years I have the party at my home, many friends invited, and some years when the weather is nicer, we would all go to a nice restaurant and have a fully decorated party. Holly Jolly Christmas ! How are you planning for the party this year ? Will you party at home or at a nice restaurant ?

The holidays always make me fat, especially with all the gatherings with family, and friends. I think for December, I go to parties and gatherings at least twice a week. This is one of the reasons why I love the holidays. This is my favorite time of the year. For this year, we will be having a party at home, just like last year. I prefer parties at home because it is more intimate, cozy, and comfortable. Usually, the guests just stay overnight at my house.

I am going to head out for a little while to meet up with an online friend who is coming to my area for a week. Then I will then head on home so I can see the new year in with my family.

I went to my sister's annual office holiday party. It is held at an Irish Pub.It isalways fun. And this way our hosts don't have to worry about cleaning up.

my wife cooks everyday, and takes care of us everyday. so when we wanted to have a party i make sure that she wont get tired so we always do it on a nice restaurant. so she can have time to prepare on what to wear and still can talk to the visitors. i dont like her to look harassed anbd stressed on the party. on january 11 our son will be turning 4 and we are planning to have a party on a restaurant, of course

I will have a few home-based gatherings.
the restauratns will be too crowded,. and probably have rip-off festive menus.
I can't cook well, so will probably order in some food or have pot luck with friends who can cook, and i;ll supply drinks and ice-cream haha.

Hi Greenline. It is always at home with the whole family. In fact, i have been busy It is he whole day preparing the family's favorite dish which is "asado". We have some many traditions here, that my family still try to follow and we enjoy doing every single one of them. Right now, the whole family is here and i am happy that everyone in the family wants to keep these traditions, alive.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

home. Restaurants are too expensive and it's hard to party hard when there's other people around. Throwing a party at home gives it a more mellow vibe and there's no rules :)

I usually get together with my sister and her family. Not every Christmas, though. It depends on how her health is. I talked to her tonight but I forgot to ask her what they were going to do for Christmas. It looks like she would have told me but I guess she forgot, too. There's no telling. We have a Ruby Tuesday's Restaurant here in Jasper and I found out before Thanksgiving that they are going to be open Christmas Day. I might just go there to celebrate if none f my family invites me to eat with them. Merry Christmas! Kathy.

I prefer partying at home.it saves more money than partying at a restaurant.partying at a restaurant costs so much.there's a service charge, tipping, and taxes.with parties at home, you can customize the foods you want to serve.it may be tiring, because even after the party you have to clean up,but I think washing the dishes and cleaning the house is worth the holiday fun.
