How do you cheer yourself up when your feeling down?

I play upbeat music, or read. Sometimes I just like being alone to think strait and think thoughts that calm me down. Lately, I try to find a chore that needs doing or a way to help someone else. Those things work really well.

Things I do to cheer me up when feeling down: I listen to an acoustic music, play my guitar and then sleep. Usually I have the tendency to cry and can't sleep so I lay down and then stare up at the ceiling until i fall asleep. Afterwards, the next day, I force myself to forget everything that had happened and move on. I make myself busy in order to stop thinking about what had happened..=)

I go shopping, even if it is just some small thing I buy it gives me a bit of a lift..maybe that is a sign od an addiction hahahahah
