Hi srikandi: I watched some tv shows about Christmas i think this is part of the celebrations but as my family always remembers me it's better to share a good time with the people you love in the dining room ;) while you talk about how was the year that is almost finished and everything you want to share with them. Thanks for your answer. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays. Take Care.

I'm not sure yet what I'm doing. I'm supposed to have 10 people here for Christmas day but we're also supposed to be getting freezing rain so that is probably going to postpone our celebration. I've all but decided to put it off another week, for the day after New Year's. I don't want anyone to chance having an accident trying to get here and some people are coming from 120 miles away where they are also supposed to get freezing rain so they'd have ice the whole way. My sons live 12 miles away but even that would be extremely dangerous driving on ice. We've had to postpone things before because of the weather so I'm pretty sure it will be okay with everyone.
I've given to the food bank, Toys for Tots and Salvation Army. I've helped a couple of friends to have a happier holiday season and that makes me feel good. I wish I could help everyone who is having financial hardship right now. I know what it's like because my husband lost his job last year only two weeks before Christmas.

During the holidays, all I've been doing is to enjoy my family and friends. They come to our house and we give out gifts. I am also cooking the best foods for this occasion. It is gonna be a joyful but very busy day for me!
Merry Christmas to you.

You are so right annjilena, and may God Bless you and your family. It is better to give than to receive, God blesses us to bless others. And there are so many less fortunate people that will not have a very Merry Christmas, but can have a nice meal or a little comfort with just a little help from some of us more fortunate people. Merry Christmas.

Hi ann jilena: i think that's a good advice. I can smell the good meals everybody have for this special time of the year but as you say there are things that are more important. For me, what matters most for Christmas is that I'll be with my parents and that's something very special and as i have mentioned in a lot of post, the special religious meaning of Christmas is very important for me. Thansk for asking us this question. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays.

I know that Christmas is just around the corner and I can't wait. It will be lots of fun to see all the presents on Christmas and the food and joy of having family near. I can't wait to celebrate the holiday season with family and to give our friend's their gifts as well!
