Whats your holiday traditions?

Well, do anyone have traditions? Well I'm filipino and at my house my traditions are to get a xmas tree and decorate as soon as thanksgiving is done. On Xmas eve, we have a xmas party and everyone opens as soon as we're done eating dinner 9pm. The day before new years eve, we make sure that the whole house is spot less, only because my parents think that it will assure a clean house thru out the year. ( i don't think so, it all depends on if you keep it clean. DUH!) On new years eve, the bedrooms and tables are full with coins (silver mostly) on plates and in our pockets to assure that we are wealthy thru out the year. Also we have baskets full of ROUND fruits on the tables. This i'm still not to sure about why we do this. We then pop the loads of fire works and at midnight, everyone, even the old adults and grandparents jump as nigh as they can to assure growth. (yeah right, my grandparents keep shrinking) lol so whats your holiday traditions?
